To think some of these users bashing Nielsen are the same ones that wanted Ladd -
Ovechkin sits at .626 goals per game which is a quarter goal higher than Gretzky’s .601. Ovechkin is already top 20 in terms of adjusted goals scored (not including this year). EVen if he doesn't pass Gretzky in total goals but gets close, he is the best goal scorer of all time imo.

What is demanding? They just flat outwork there opponents, I wouldn't say they are bruisers. And yes, they are in the convo for cup contenders, especially with Bob in net.

Not saying Mrazek and Price are the same but I remember a lot of Canadiens fans wanting them to keep Halak over Price after the playoff performances he had against Washington and Pittsburgh. Look how that turned out, we need to be patient like you said.

Doubt it, they have a really good team. They also have the 2nd best goalie in the league right now (2nd in GAA, 2nd in Save %).

+/- is a bad stat to use, but your right Sheahan has been awful. He can go anytime whether it be via trade or just outright released.
