I don't know if it's just me but I really want our playoff streak to survive so Legwand helps our team right now and maybe for 2-3 years (hopefully at like 2.5mil, even if maybe its unrealistic). Kind of makes J-rok worth the risk to keep that streak I want alive. Athanasiou is a player on fire in the OHL from that aritcle he's had "...another hat trick on March 1. Legwand will be a huge boost for these next three weeks cause we play a lot of games with few days between. Legwand-Weiss/Andy-Abby Cleary, Bert, Miller, Andy, Glen Lots of depth and having Legwand over Miller I think adds a lot more offensive threat, skill, and experience. Tatar show! - Ouellet was raved upon by Babcock and it allows us to determine our first call-up when we get injuries on Defense. I hope its Sproul or Ouellet - Mrazek should be awesome to see against the Penguins without anything on the line it prepares him for back-up while Gus does Yoga to fix his groin

Agree totally. I'm from BC too and its their fans that are worst. Hate hearing that its their year every year, even though they've failed in the playoffs every year. Even after getting by with a Game 7 OT, nucks fans think they are gonna roll through Nashville. Don't seem to understand that the playoffs are a totally different game and the regular season doesnt mean anything. Plus, I've always been hated on for liking an "American" Detroit Red Wings team which I laugh at. Yzerman, Shanahan, Draper, Maltby, are all Canadian Olympians and then Ken Holland, Yzerman, and Babcock made our Canadian gold medal team. Most of my hate comes from the fans and just a general rivalry formed from knowing Canucks fans, as a Red Wings fan. PS: Go Predators. Shea Weber's beard has more playoff grit than the Sedin Sisters combined.

I wonder if the Red Wings would be interested in jumping up to the 15th spot. Jim Nill also said that the draft has about 10-15 sure picks and the rest are questionable. Do you think the Wings could throw the 21st pick and the rights to Derek Meech for the 15th? Florida traded for Denis Wideman earlier so maybe they are looking for more depth and Meech is a versatile player.

Yeah I agree. Meech is a player who the Red Wings may have to lose anyway so why not throw him the Panthers way and move up in the draft. Whether or not it is enough is the question and I hope the Red Wings are talking to the Panthers about moving up because I think that 6 spot jump would make a difference. I have a feeling this is gonna happen haha.
