that AA-Larkin-Mantha potential though
-
As long as he's playing well, no I wouldn't be surprised. If Howard is out playing mraz though and mraz is getting more starts, then I'd be surprised.
-
So #tankit2013/14 was a success?
-
Now or in their primes?
-
They do both get pretty happy when they score.. I give hudler the sight edge in the smiles department though
-
1a/1b until management determines Howard is expendable. He'll be traded before his contracts up but it won't be until next off-season at the very earliest.. even that seems like a stretch.
-
Wooo, I like the two years on jurco. One less contract to deal with next year.. Here's to hoping he starts developing towards a physical goal scorer
-
Yeah, that too. Whatever happens, it's very unlikely he'll retire so I don't think we'll have to worry about the penalties is all I was trying to say.
-
We had room to add one veteran forward (barely). Richards > semin
-
all of Montreal is really hoping semin isn't a bust.. that could be a sticky situation for them
-
true. and their top six has a great supporting cast. I'm not saying he's done, I think he'll be fine there too. but if he's a bust again with that roster, it'll be real hard to find another deal
-
make it or break it season for semin's nhl career, imo. unless he's ok with cheap one year deals year after year
-
unless that report is from ken holland, I'd take jurco's word for it
-
Nhl GMs see your retroactive punishment and raise you LTIRetirement no but really, Kenny won't let franzen officially retire. Obviously he can't force him not to but I'm sure franzen would want to help the team as much as he can, be it on the ice or in cap relief.

Jim Devellano on Mantha's play: "Very disappointing"
amato replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Good article, pretty much my thoughts all along. Dunno who was calling him a "reclamation project"..? Other teams' fans hoping to land him cheap? -

This. Jurco last year was basically the definition of misuse.. would love to see a jurco-sheahan-pulks third line.
-
I wouldn't trade pulk for buff (and you can count me as cautiously optimistic re: pulk) simply because we likely wouldn't be able to re-$ign him with the amount of raises players will command in the next couple off seasons.. granted Quincey comes off the books next year and of course Richards, so it's certainly possible but we'd have to make sure any player signed long term is a great fit. Getting rid of pulk isn't worth that kind of a one season or less gamble, imo. You just don't deal his kind of potential for a possible rental.
-
He's going to that place!
-
The league might make him wear a mask though.. to protect the puck from his beard.
-
Makes me think we could see the first decent trade in a while around here *fingers crossed*
-
I hope he plays regularly and succeeds is more of what I meant by "stick".. my bad ha. But yeah, I agree with your assessment.
-
That's an expensive pro scout
-
Yup. "@BrendanSavage: Teemu Pulkkinen's one-year deal with Red Wings worth $735,000." Hope he has a solid chance to stick with the big club this year.
