Yeah I think that's basically implied at this point.. whether he gets 30+ goals next year, who knows. But he damn well will get more than six

Signed Brendan Smith re-signed 2 yrs $2.75 mill AAV

Good deal. I have a feeling blash will use him better than babs did. -
Hahaha I will laugh so hard if cbj gives him that deal. They know they don't have Kane and toews right?
-
Potential semin signing? A potential goal scoring winger is much more of a need than an underwhelming center..
-
Good deal for both sides. I'm glad he's not in Boston anymore.

I take back the russia talk... http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2015/06/30/semins-agent-weve-already-received-calls-on-him/

"@DarrenDreger: Sounds like a 6 yr extension coming in Calgary for Hamilton. #TSN"
-
Fair point, I didn't think of that. Russia it is
-
I just can't believe he turned lucic into a little more than two first round picks. Didn't think he'd get nearly that much for that goon.. although he did retain half his cap hit so I guess that makes it a little more reasonable
-
"@Real_ESPNLeBrun: Believe it's a pick and a prospect headed over to Boston for Jones..." "@Real_ESPNLeBrun: Sharks give up a 2016 first-round draft pick plus unsigned prospect Sean Kuraly for Martin Jones"

Ah gotcha. I hadn't seen any of that. I don't think it'd even take that much to pry him away but I guess it depends on what trades they make.
-
I agree with a small one year deal and I think he'll sign one. But probably with Pittsburgh..
-
I would offer Semin a low contract for a year or two. He might sign cheap since he'll still be getting paid by the canes & I don't think he'll get offers from too many teams. If he takes it, great. If not, no big deal.. That said, I bet he goes to the penguins real cheap for a year.

Where did someone say they'd give $7+ mill? Most I see on here is five. Am I missing something?

There was a big line at the beer store? Stoll's contract expired this off season. And Lombardi has already said somewhere that he made a mistake not buying him out when he had the chance
-
A first and a third according to that wiki I put a couple posts up. I also found that same table on a couple other articles.

Add another right handed d man to the free agent pool. Vancouver did not qualify rfa yannick Weber. http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2015/06/29/riley-nash-yannick-weber-among-those-without-qualifying-offers/ I don't know much about him but maybe we can sign him and switch him with Shea without anyone noticing
-
Apparently they were in trade talks to send him to the oilers or flames when Lombardi found out about an off ice incident. He immediately told those teams and stopped trade talks, went to the league to tell them his intentions of waiving/terminating him and then did so on Sunday. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nhl/story/_/id/13169890/los-angeles-kings-terminate-contract-mike-richards I know it's just espn but damn, I wanna know more

According to the new CBA, the only way we would lose over two first rounders is if he signed for around an $9.1 million cap hit or more. RFA compensation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offer_sheet#Compensation

I agree with the wait and see thing. It might be a while though. the NHLPA has more than 22 million reasons to fight it.

Still waiting for my camp invite... *sigh*

Agreed. The only way glendog goes to a scoring line is if it's a Toronto scoring line.
