I think Z was just held out as a precaution so he didn't take another hard hit.. I'm sure we'll know more before the game tomorrow. -

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Steve Downie was available out of Pittsburgh. Granted, he takes a lot of penalties but babs would probably help with that.. And he chips in decently offensively (10 g, 13 a in 51 games). Although I'm pretty sure that's not with fourth line minutes. His cap hit is only 1 mill though and he's a free agent at the end of the year.. Just a potential gritty guy available. I'll try to find the article.

Touchè. Maybe it's a tie Edit: their stats are pretty damn close so far this season.... Price: 32 wins, 1.93 gaa, .935 sv%, 5 SO Rinne: 34 wins, 1.94 gaa, .932 sv%, 3 SO the vezina is going to be a close one this year.

I think 13 gets retired one day. I certainly couldn't see anyone else wear it again.... I also think that 40 has an even better chance than 13. I think it's probably a lock if Z adds a cup or two under his captaincy. Kronwall seems like a bit of a stretch to me though.

Yeah, I read an article somewhere that said that they've been known to start fights during warm ups and that they used to only be about fighting and stuff like that rather than actually trying to win games.

Nice gdt as always! Only get to see this matchup twice a year now. Hope it's a good game! Hopefully one of these years soon, it's more than twice. A wings vs hawks cup final would be incredible. Wings win 4-3 in OT. Abby with the GWG. Pulk gets one, nyq with two from Weiss. LGW!! -
