It really is a great point for expansion for us. Wonder who Seattle would take.. obviously it depends what they get from other teams. But I'd assume it'll be a younger guy, similar to when we lost Nosek to Vegas.

Or anyone the last four drafts, Hronek included. This may be misleading though because they're also saying that this expansion follows the same rules as the Vegas expansion, which stated that all first and second year PROS were exempt... which would make us have to protect Hronek and others (if we choose to) who spent more than 2 years between the AHL and NHL by the end of next season. I wonder if that would count the DEL too.. in which case we'd have to protect Seider as well. Hopefully it only counts NHL seasons.

He wouldn't. But just saying that it's not 100% decided that he's going back to the DEL next season. Either way would be good, I'd just rather him start in the AHL for callup potential.

I believe when he got drafted, Seider said something along the lines of he'd go where ever the wings management decided he should. I hope he starts in Grand Rapids
