he's a key injury not because we've always had him playing.. but because helm is a difference maker on the ice.

i agree, he's much better in the studio.... but I didn't really have a problem with him during the game (other than the rambling). seemed a lot of times he had something okay to add to the play but then went on three times longer overexplaining himself..

1. We need our offense back 2.I'm disappointed they couldn't pull it off but, what a goalie battle.. rags won off a lucky goal and both teams had their fair share of chances. This was one of the more exciting 1-0 games I've ever seen.. even if we were on the wrong end of it. 3. Ozzie is a decent aannouncer but he needs to learn when to shut up..

the biggest positive is that an "off season" for the wings = playoff bubble team. while making the playoffs isn't a given nowadays, the wings are a team that know how to get there.. and they will. i too cannot wait to watch a fully healthy detroit red wings roster. -

you are most likely right but even still, two top 6 forwards, two top 4 d, and a starting goalie are a pretty damn good couple of draft years picking anywhere, let alone the medeocre picks the wings get year after year.. and let's not forget frk, mantha, & potentially nastasiuk. and of course, hampus melen

I wouldn't call yak a flop just yet.. give him a couple more seasons to bulk up and improve his two way game and I think he pans out nicely. I'd love to have him in the d and I'm sure pav and yak would love to play together. I imagine it would take a young nhl d man, good prospect and at least a mid pick Geterr done Kenny -

I was row 68 & was very pleased with the view. It didn't feel nearly as far as it sounded. Hard to see the puck at times but it was great for seeing plays develop and I don't know how much closer I'd even want to sit with the rink in the middle of the football field and all.. -

Almost didn't go.. ticket plans fell thru and ended up buying them on the way to Ann Arbor to celebrate new years with my friend the night before and I'm so glad I did. It was freezing cold and unfortunate that we couldn't get the win but I don't even care, what an incredible experience LGW! Also nice to follow it up with a rose bowl win. 2014 has been pretty great so far!
