i would think toots would be in, yea. that's great news about dekeyser though! also heard Z should be back the first game after christmas. it'll be nice to get closer to a full lineup

this is what I was going to say ha. but yea, we are doing worse but look at the roster changes.. you don't lose guys like lidstrom, rafalski, and even stuart in such a small time periord and continue the same level of success. if anything, babs has coached this team into the playoffs the past couple seasons.. and he'll do it again year after year. if anyone is at risk of losing their job in the NHL it's definitely not babcock.

pav did say he was "out of shape" when he came back... translation: "i'm closer to everyone elses' level"...? also, there's no way pav doesn't care. he probably cares the most on our team if not in the league. he's a very competetive guy.. and could easily not be 100% back to what he was pre-concussion. just hope he avoids another big hit *knocks on wood* and he'll be back to himself in no time.

nowadays rivalries are whatever team you play on a wednesday according to nbc

most coaches probably don't spend time on shootouts in practice.. players may individually work on them at optional skates but I doubt there is any specific shootout practice time set aside on any team.

yeah, i agree that its not good news.. it's just not terrible news really. I'd definitely rather have him in the lineup and I'm one of the few that still like the signing and think he'll be fine. and the line of course, was for teh lolz at babs' expense -
i believe that was last years draft that was considered one of the deepest drafts in a long time edit: also, the draft where holland wasn't stingy with the first and got quincey was considered a shallow draft. which is likely why he wasn't stingy with the pick

i like your scale for reputation around the hockey world honestly though, weiss being out isn't really bad news... it's not good either..
