yea fleury has troubles but they've already stated he would be their starting goalie next season. and the canadians pretty much have to have confidence in price for how much he's getting paid, i agree with that. I could see the flyers. I'd like to see the oilers. but my guess is maybe florida or tampa if they can convince thomas they'll be competetors. that would let markstrom or lindback learn under a great goalie too, a chance i'm sure they wouldn't want to pass up.
-
All three of those teams have starting goal tenders that they are confident in.. I don't see Thomas wanting to go anywhere unless he's the for sure #1 man between the pipes.
-
"DiPietro will get $1.5 million through 2029."
-
dipietro gone, Thomas gone.. how are they going to reach the cap floor now?! Even with it going down
-
I'd like that! Haha go oils!!
-
Thomas would be a good temporary fix for Philly. They might be his best option too looking at the tendies around the league
-
he was for last season. they had the option to suspend him for not showing up and then he'd have to play there for a year if he were to come back, but they didn't do that. they traded for his contract so they could reach the cap floor for last season. now he's a UFA

i read somewhere that it was "regular waivers" (i forget the technical term) as in not for a buyout.. looking for a link now Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie4h VAN's Keith Ballard is on conventional waivers. Not $100 unconditional waivers, which is necessary for buyout purposes. edit: found the link. bob via the tweeter machine.

Tyler Seguin available? what would do cost be
amato replied to nyqvististhefuture's topic in General
"In attempt to keep Nathan Horton, Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli sniffed around to see what Tyler Seguin might bring back. Chiarelli was caught off guard when Horton said he would test the free agent market. 15 teams called the Bruins about Seguin. Trade talks died after Horton said he was moving on." according to bruce garrioch of the ottawa sun edit: maybe seguin is still in play? lebrun had this to say.... "GM Chiarelli continue to listen to teams on Seguin after Horton said he wouldn’t be returning. It’s likely that he won’t go anywhere, but LeBrun wouldn’t close the door on it." -
We can only hope that one day hampus gets good enough at something to get his own adjective or verb like pav and kronner.

cola and other pieces for a dman maybe? or maybe holland is just saying hi?
-
dreger is on the draft floor last i checked, so it's probably true.. whether it comes to anything, who knows.
-
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger8s Holland and Nonis also in a long discussion. Red Wings eager to add a defenceman as well.
-
^my thoughts exactly
-
Ansar Khan @AnsarKhanMLive14s Ultra-confident Anthony Mantha says his plan is to make Wings' roster next season. love the confidence! but good luck haha
-
i'd rather him just appear in a puff of smoke from the middle of the stage. wearing a tux with a top hat and magic wand. pulls the jersey out of his hat
-
also, they always put the draft year '## on the jerseys.. ha
-
well he's going to play but i imagine he's alittle upset about it.. add torts to that mix and it's probably not a good situation for the team to be in
-
classic ken holland. good trade.
-
just read "gillis said he did not talk to luongo before agreeing to the schnider deal" on the twitter feed under the draft coverage.... it could get messier haha
-
8 years is about what he'd spend in GR anyway, right?
-
weber-jones, i'm sure seth isn't toooo upset

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger1m Canucks are not softening on Schneider's asking price. Might be too rich for the Oilers, but clock is ticking. that'd be pretty huge for the oils.. and probably equally as big for the nucks. wonder who would be involved..
