I dont think we see a season at all.. Both sides have given us no reason to believe they'll reach a deal any time soon.... Unless one side caves. It's possible but I highly doubt it.

yeah, i know.. i wasn't saying that he's going to suck because of it. it just hurt haha but yeah, we have good prospects but not elite prospects (other than smith and maybe nyq) but i think our future will be just fine.

not sure if you're serious either.. but i don't know, I was at the one game that McCollum played for the wings.... not saying that it's as good as he'll get, but that game was painful to watch.

aside from nyqvist and smith, who i cannot wait to see up full time.... jurco is going to be incredible. before we got him, i was looking over the prospects hoping we'd pick him.. so glad we did. According to the article, ratings of NHL games after the last lockout were less than the WNBA.... Mother of god, that's bad. Less than 1/3 of the viewers than the year before the lockout. I bet after this one, it's even lower than before.. Social media plays a big role in that.

just saw this and went to post it.. if holding out ends up getting them a better deal within the next few days, cool. but if it doesn't and the season doesn't happen, fehr needs to go.

Bolded is exactly what I was thinking when i first read he thought the offer was insulting.... but no matter how "bad" the deal was or whatever, i don't see why the NHL wouldn't at least sit back down and talk about it rather than saying "nope! bye!" ....which is the impression I'm getting. i'm sure the PA offer was something to work off of/their best one yet, otherwise why would they offer it? idk, maybe i'm wrong.. just seems dumb to stop negotiating right now.. or at all for that matter.
