It's just too bad that revenue growth will take a step back because of the lockout.. The longer it goes on, the less revenue growth we'll see in upcoming years.

That's awesome to hear! The wings offensive production will thrive with him having a smooth transition to the NHL. Imagine a Z-Filp-Brunner line or a Z-Pavel-Brunner power play.. Assuming he keeps up his play in the new league.. Awesome. (Also, assuming we get a season at all)

if you read other tootoo tweets, he doesn't seem like that bad of a guy off the ice. I've changed my opinion of him because who he is on the ice is completely different than who he is off the ice. (ex - team tootoo fund (his charity) and he's gone to rinks to help kids from his hometown with ice hockey). He's a role player on the ice because that's the way he can help his teams most.

@HeleneStJames: Per Swiss news, Henrik Zetterberg will play with Switzerland's EV Zug. Zetterberg going overseas indicates lockout will go long. #RedWings

he could've chose to go over there sooner in order to play with brunner and help him develop.. I agree that it's a sign the lockout isn't ending next week or anything like that and that it'll probably be a long lockout. but i'm sure playing with one of the wings key players (and basically captain) is something that the wings would want for a prospect with the upside brunner has.

I do like that he's going to play with Brunner a lot but overall this is bad news.. Could be a long lockout unfortunately :/ I think I read that it was that he'd have to pay for his own insurance.. Don't quote me on that though, not 100% sure

next in line? no. after Z though, I have read something on that before. i looked for the article but couldn't find it. basically it was talking about how detroit has had its next captains sit next to its previous ones in the locker room before and mentioned something about filp sitting next to Z (and maybe lids, i don't remember) Although, i for one think that by the time zette is done being captain/retiring, smith will be ready to take over the C as he'll likely be a top 2 D-man by then and be younger than filp. it's all speculation. but filp will likely get zette's A when he steps up as captain.
