Blues are right on the bubble.. but they did the same with Shattenkirk last year when they were higher in the standings. Getting a first for a guy that will be a UFA and (in their minds I’m sure) making the playoffs was probably too good to pass up.

Yeah, I imagine the sens are using the deadline as a way to get talks started for a summer trade. Which seems like a bad idea; they’d get more for him for two playoff runs at his current cap hit, I’d think. I could really see them managing to mess up his trade sometime around the draft.

Green will be traded for sure. Sounds like interest in Glendenning and Tatar has been picking up.. that interest will need to be worth it though. We seem to wait until closer to the deadline to make deals usually.. time will tell.
