Love the forward lines.. maybe switch larkin to center but he hasn't exactly looked great there so I'm torn. Let's keep up the hard play though! LGW

Ridiculous examples aside, I think mrazek lost his "starting job" early in the season before Coreau was ever called up.. not necessarily to howard but to more of a "hot hand" approach. Coreau was winning; why not keep playing him? Then he had a bad outing against Boston (not necessarily his fault) and mrazek came in and we ended up winning the game. I bet mrazek starts tonight (not sure if that's confirmed or not yet), and keeps starting if he keeps winning/playing well.

Obviously different sample sizes but their career stats are almost identical.. howard = 2.43 gaa, .915 save% mraz = 2.47 gaa, .914 save% goalies are just inconsistent.. it's a tough job. lundquist and price are both among the best and have even struggled lately, for example. I have a feeling howard either gets "drafted" by vegas or is with us through the final two years of his contract. Either option is fine by me.

He's definitely been getting better.. wasn't a big fan at first but growing pains are expected. He can skate the puck well and doesn't seem to be afraid to shoot. Looks like he's quickly growing into greens replacement (assuming he keeps improving).

Been at the game so I haven't been posting but damn what a roller coaster of a game so far! And its gotta be the worst worst game mike green has ever played, right? Hopefully he comes out in the third and redeems his mistakes so far.

10 goals/25 points for Vanek in 29 games.. would've thought he'd go over Nielsen (8 goals/22 points in 40 games). Edit: or even manthas 11/19 in 25... no offense to Nielsen but I wonder why they chose him over those two.
