Actually, everything revolving the situation indicates next year will be his last. He has one year left. Blashill has one year left. Holland is not allowing other teams to talk to Blash. Babs said he doesn't want to talk about an extension this summer. It's also Babs' philosophy a coach can only be effective for 9 years. I fully expect Babs to move on after next year and Blash to take the reigns. Not that I think Babs is bad or his time is up, but IMO the writing is on the wall. Change is not always bad and Blash is Babs 2.0.

Sounds fun, but my life is too hectic for a schedule like that. I've only played a few games in those leagues or drop ins. I like playing heads up.

Awesome. Not that I really mind, but I wish we could have done Tatar's father this year b/c it was a recent event. Next year it won't be as relevant. I completely understand the urgency to do it in honor of Howe though. We probably could have gotten an address from that article or Helm's tax records b/c he owns the condo Tatar lives in and had their neighbors complaining about late night activities. I was curious if they were going to work that into the game. I would NOT be surprised to hear Edzo rattle that off about the Red Wings. It's almost like the line they have programmed in the game now, when you get a powerplay they say something like "This is not what they wanted to do, put this team on the powerplay. This is one of the most feared powerplays in the game." Then I laugh hysterically out loud. I'm sure it would cost way too much, take up too much storage space, and realistically I don't see it ever happening. I mean, I'm not even sure they have all of the arenas programmed into the game...asking for the real announcers is a very long shot.

Bruins diving all over the place trying to get calls too. I didn't watch most of game 1 and missed the first today, but I have not seen MTL diving yet. I love how Boston is starting to get rattled. If they lose both at home they might be in for a world of hurt. It's funny how Pierre has this love affair with pointing out when a player is holding a Bruin's stick. He did it a little while ago and he did it last series with Z, the only problem being that they are only holding the stick because the Bruin player is waving it around dangerously.

When Marchand pulled that crap, my friend texted me and said "WTF, trying to take our guys knee out?!" (he's a hater, just chooses whatever team the wings are playing on, he claims to be a pens fan) anyways, I told him he's a diver and was probably faking it. Then I pointed out when he got back on the ice next shift. He said, you say that about my team too...in which he was referring to how I call cindy a diver all the time, because he is. So I pointed him to a few weeks prior when he dove after the ref touched him. It's pretty sickening to watch them get so many calls for that weak ass stuff.
