Not only was that the right call, but he should have received a game misconduct and be up for supplemental discipline. Leaving the bench with the intention of starting an altercation is suspendable. Jean-Francois Jacques was already banned for that this year. Not sure if FSD showed it, but NBC showed his direct path to Stuart after he left the bench, completely ignoring the play. He even confirmed that in his post game comments. In the end, I don't really care, but if we're going to ***** about missed calls...why not start at the top? If Z gets suspended then the league is clearly headed towards no-contact hockey. That was the absolute minimum contact that could have been made, what else do they really expect players to do at that point? If anything, it looked like the contact he was making was so he didn't slam dude into the boards to begin with and then they rule it the way they did. Ludicrous if you ask me.

When I was at the game in Dallas on Tuesday, I was standing next to the Wings bench during the pregame skate and there was a guy setting up a small camera with a suction cup to the glass at the end of the bench. Since I knew they were filming NHL 36 I figured it was to follow Nick during the game. I thought it was pretty interesting.

Exactamundo. It never fails when that word is uttered we let one in. I nearly clocked my brother one game for it. He said it, I yelled at him, they scored.

Nobody around here liked the fact that the pens and flyers were in it twice either, but you're not going to hear much complaining that the Wings are in a WC again, especially after both PA teams have already done so. We're just following suit. You're point has been made, but to be honest, not many people care about the Blues or if they ever participate in a WC so you're efforts are futile.
