I read there were 178 of them total, 8 being involved in crashed. Today. Sucks.

That was sooo yesterday.

This is my favorite hit from Stewie...hit at 0:08. I always have to give RJ his props though, he came back and scored a goal that game.

Thats bizarre, tried to find another camera angle, but no luck.

It's confusing because the NHL actually has a definition for a rookie and the OPs definition of a rookie is different. As someone said, this is more like a list of players with breakout potential.

I should have been more specific. My experience with Center Ice through Time Warner and InDemand sucks. As stated, I will soon be moving to Directv so I can see what they have to offer. I hope it's what I expect. For the price of GameCenter Live, I was not impressed. That was two years ago and I don't know if the quality has improved, but I would choose CI over GCL, as I have the last two seasons. No DVR is a big kicker there too. Live Internet streams are never as good as a provider, they are subject to too many variables.

GameCenter sucks. Center Ice sucks. I talked to Directv recently and they did confirm to me that for Center Ice, they don't have dedicated channels they pipe feeds to, but instead they unlock (or un-blackout) the regional channels the game is shown on. I currently have TWC and buy Center Ice every year, but I only get the feeds they choose to pipe through the the NHL/MLB pay channels. Directv would unblock FSD in both SD and HD. Hence, Directv will soon be getting my business. I can for one say that a certain feed I get for free is better than the SD crap I pay $200/yr for. Any kind of video you are streaming on the Internet is going to be susceptible to lag or glitching, but sure beats looking behind the net for a puck after a shot since you can't see the damn thing to begin with in SD.

I distinctly remember Zetterberg hitting a cross bar with a few minutes to go in Game 7 of 2009. My opinion, in addition to everything stated already, I think it's a matter of match up. Some teams match up to others better than others. While we could have taken it to TB, Boston, Vancouver...SJ has proven to be a tough match up for us the last two years. Now, without Setoguchi, the Sharks don't have a few of their goals....a powerplay setup with a man sitting alone to the left wing waiting for a one-time rings a bell. Something that could swing the match up in our favor IMO.

Just saw this goal on NHL.com...pretty slick. What really caught my attention though, see below, talk about a romping! I realize it's Division III, but still. Video: http://www.nhl.com/i...s.htm?id=569601

I know it's not a presser, but is this gonna be streamed anywhere, or do we just wait to hear what happens?
-
So what you're trying to say is...you're a waste of time?
-
I'm sorry, but did you just say Nick isn't a superstar?
-
I was gonna mention Z, but since this is about Russians and Dats is an absolute defensive beast and has the Selkes to prove it....ya.

Hands down, Pasha. Ovi never shows up against the Wings and I hypothesize it has something to do with Lucky Number 13.

What's that old adage..."Be a boss, not a buddy."

RT @garretkc: @CraigCustance says "an NHL source told Sporting News as of mid-afternoon the #RedWings weren't close to a deal with [ian] White".
-
Looking at commodore's stats, why did he only play 20 games last year? Injuries? He's only played 70+ games 3 seasons in the last decade. That's the only thing that worries me. He's obviously Salei's replacement.
-
#RedWings sign defenseman Mike Commodore to a one-year deal.
-
You've officially lost it..
-
@KusicHockey: Forward Vernon Fiddler has signed with Dallas Stars to three-year deal (5.4 mil.)
-
Agreed. This ******* blows. Supposed to be a frenzy and this just sucks.
-
I wouldn't be surprised to see Huds go in a deal for a D man.

Wings re-sign Eaves to 3-year, $3.6m contract

These are all opinions. Claiming one player is better than the other is an opinion relative to the criteria they are being judged on. I didn't bring the fighting up. My main point is, 1.2 is a great deal for a 4th liner that already knows and fits in with our system. Why gamble on someone else to save minimal cap dollars we are not stressing over when we have someone perfectly capable already? -
Word is Pens withdrew their offer.

I did take number of games played into account. The fact he played 44 games means he's either not as useful to the team because he's sitting in the press box or spent too much time on the trainers table. They are comparable, to an extent. If we're using facts correctly in this thread, isn't Asham past his prime anyways? On the decline?
