That was one of the funniest things I had ever seen happen (other than Patty getting blasted of course). IIRC something similar happened during the olympics to someone, I think, on Team Finland? Coincidentally, he also took a slapshot from Roman Josi back in 2011 that broke his jaw and put him out for over a year with concussion issues.

I think it's all speculation. I don't see why he would be out, I realize he lost some teef, but he did finish the game that night so I don't see why he would miss one a few days later. Then again, I've never had a mouth full of teef bashed out with a hockey stick.
