You can't have it both ways. You can't kick and scream that the Americans did this and then turn around and do the EXACT thing you were condemning and act like anybody brought it upon you but yourself.

Me too. I am at work, undoubtedly watching the game, putting it on the 70" in fact. But I'd MUCH rather be at a bar, only, I have no idea what bar I could go to where other people might or might not be watching the game. I am wearing my USA Miller jersey today. Somehow the Rafalski jersey didn't make sense.

I was thinking about this...and I concluded I think everyone should just swallow their whistles tomorrow and let us play.

I've actually read some pretty interesting stories about how guys in the NHL with upper-body injuries are occasionally just hangovers, it wasn't in reference to the Wings though. I don't remember where or who it was about, so take that as you will, but I don't really find it that far-fetched.

Same story here. It's fairly sad when the most hockey-oriented place I can be is at work. I actually had to have Hooters put the game on yesterday and she put it on CAN/LAT *gasp* then I asked her to change it and she asked if it was really that important, then I threatened to leave and she changed it. Although, once it was on, everyone was watching it.
