I believe this is the third time this season we're on the second night of a back-to-back in less than 24 hours. My hopes are honestly not high, but they were not last night either. I passed out after the 2nd and woke to a Cleary goal. I thought I was dreaming, but it turned out to be real life. Either way, I always watch. LGRW!

Odd situation here, since Hannan/McLellan won't receive fines for the instigator in the last 5 mins. Do I believe they should be? No. However, I don't like that the NHL basically operates under however they are feeling and ignoring rules that are in place. Either have the rule on the books and enforce it, or take it off the books. I guess the way the rule is written they are allowed to do that, but I still don't like it simply because I don't have to. Heh.

Yeah, things were really tight until people started leaving.

In the third and OT they switched sides halfway through. I only saw it up there once, but they had an explanation on the screen about that sometime during the first or second. Same reason the SO took place on the same side of the rink, they don't want the weather to affect one team adversely so they want them to spend the same amount of time on each side of the ice to make it even. Not that I agree with that, but that's why they did it.

Man, that's horrible. The traffic and that dumb Canuck. We left about 10 and got there at 1130. We took a back road and parked 2 blocks away at a friend's house. It did take us a few hours to get out of Ann Arbor though, but we got back to New Boston about 730-8. In general it seemed to be a very long hockey game. Much longer than a typical 3 hour game. Lots and lots of leafs fans, but most of them were really cool. There were a few eh-holes but there always are in a crowd that big. We met a lot of cool ones at Comerica. We should have had a LGW meetup. So many of us were there and usually don't get to meet up in person. Although, with events like this so much going on that gets hard to coordinate.

Depends. I was on row 12, couldn't see the puck. Moved to the first row for awhile after people started leaving, then moved up about half way in the third and those seats were great. Could see the entire ice from there. I forgot to snap a picture from up there though. They were not checking tickets so you could pretty much go wherever you wanted.

Too bad it came down to a skills competition but I still had fun. Although Toronto fans will never let us live this down. It was cold but manageable. It was colder last night at comerica. I couldn't believe what some people were wearing. Lots of people bailed starting in the first period.
