It's supposed to be a 1-time a year thing for two teams to play an outdoor game as a throwback to pond hockey, so it's an NHL thing that started in 2008. However, the NHL decided to run out and schedule something like 4 more outdoor games this year to ruin the novelty of the Winter Classic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NHL_Winter_Classic

And that's just some guy ranting. IIRC all the Reebok's are replicas, which means: not-exactly-the-same-as-the-ones-they-wear-on-the-ice-but-authentic.

Not all authentic jerseys are made in Canada. I have seen NHL.com specifically state theirs are from China. Maybe not now, but I know they had that on their site at once (at a minimum for customized jerseys). Having said that, it's a bummer you didn't get what you intended.

Which is crazy because we could have a legitimate goal and they never even attempt to review it unless it was signaled a goal on the ice. A certain Brad May shot comes to mind. Consistency is still the biggest problem in this league's officiating IMO.

I was trying to tell everyone yesterday this wouldn't garner a suspension. Quincey barely did anything and I still think Getzlaugh threw himself into the boards more than anything. More of a dumb luck positioning play than a dirty hit from behind.
