I honestly think they decided last year was a transition year and to try them out which is exactly what they did. Unexpectedly made the playoffs and put up a decent run but left Tatar down because he was there when the Griffins went on their run. Not to mention he was the MVP and potted 16 goals.

I have to say, I believe that more often than not, good things happened when Tootoo was on the ice. He had one hell of a finish to the season IMO.

Yeah, I read some quotes while on vacay last week that sounded like they were pretty much done with him. At least that's what it sounded like to me. I'm trying to catch up on RW news and am surprised Brunner has not signed anywhere.

I called them earlier this year and they said they were printed (she also claimed the 'C' was for winter classic), but I met some folks at the Dallas game that bought them from nhl.com and they were sewn on plus had the name bars. However, they were lacking the C or A on the arm.

It appears Brendan will be playing in the same division as his brother next year. -
I'd like to see less point shots overall. Other PPs seem to move the puck and create chances, we seem to throw it to the point and let one rip hoping for it to make it through or a lucky bounce to bury. If our PP showed up against Chicago they don't win the cup.

Can someone explain to me why the Habs bought out Gomez? Wasn't he traded (or something) to SJ? *confused* Or was he actually bought out earlier this year? I recall him signing for like 1.25mil with SJ. If that's the case, why was that allowed before the 'buyout window'? I don't recall if the teams were allowed an 'emergency buyout' once the CBA was actually renewed.

He may have gone overboard, but where do you draw the line? Do we start pressing charges for people that were boarded, blindsided, etc? There are tons of non-hockey plays that could be thrown into this discussion. Slippery slope it is.
