As much as we would like it, If Bert or Sammy play it won't be for Cleary. I would say Eaves is the odd man out, but he has had a few very good games. Trying to get into Babs' head, I'd say if anyone sat, it would be Toots.

I think IF the worst case scenario happens and I got booked on it, I think I could beat the charge due to the precedence and acceptableness of hat trick hats. In a court of law it would be hard to explain why that is acceptable and the octopus is not. I also think it's completely hypocritical of the NHL to say we can't do this yet they continue to use footage of Al swinging the octopi in their 'Because it's the Cup' commercials.

There are for Wings' games. Lots of Red, but there are some black and green. I'm sure if I do it most of them won't even know what just happened.

The first challenge will be finding one. Believe it or not, I've been trying to find one for months to feed to my shark with no luck. They show up now and then, but not common. I know all the basics of boiling, with lemon juice I've also read? Obviously wouldn't throw it near the players or during play. I'm not that guy. My other challenge is I'm sitting behind the net, one section to the right, so I would have to find a throwing spot as to not hit the catch net. I'm also of the concept that this is a playoff tradition, but being the last game of the season that our playoff chances hinge on, I think it's acceptable. I want the boys to feel at home away from home. We always get the LGRW chants going, so listen for us! And I mean all of Red Wing fans there. The Stars came out a different team in the third period, which I presume is after they learned they were eliminated. They packed it in after 40.

Sooooo....Wings need a win against Trashville and for Dallas to pull it out in regulation tomorrow. That will allow the Wings to clinch tomorrow and I can take a breather at the game on Saturday. Good win tonight. If my brother didn't ruin it for me before I finished watching the recording it would have been more exciting but at this point I'm just glad they're figuring out how to win. Tonight is over and tomorrow is beginning. Need another 2 points and a ROW.

True that. I was looking at the standings and we need to win tomorrow, then Dallas to beat BJs in regulation, and then we need to win against Trashville. Then the boys need to tear it up (while I'm there) in Dallas to solidify our spot. I'm already a nervous wreck, I'm going to be in a terrible state on Saturday. If they don't win and don't get in the tourney, we're going to tear up Dallas on Saturday night.

I was caught off guard this weekend when someone mentioned on the radio that song was Boston's. I was like, they sing that in every venue and bar across the nation. I guess the Red Sox play it during the 7th inning stretch so they say it's theirs.

Considering Dallas and Detroit square off on Saturday, I don't think it's possible for all those teams to lose out. Last night was it for them.

I'm not arguing semantics. You are. I could care less what the meaning of novelty is, I just thought it was fairly obvious you were being an ass-hat for no reason. Let's just have six Christmas's, or Thanksgivings, or whatever annual event of your choosing. If you can't see that when you take an event that happens once a year and schedule it for multiple times a year that the original event becomes less novel, then I don't know what else to say. It is what it is.
