I'm really hoping Franzen has a different kind of year. He said he doesn't want to be labeled as lazy, and while we all known his tendencies, when that guy decides to take over a game...he certainly does. Here's to hoping he has that attitude all year. I for one am excited what may be unleashed.

He did have those quotes about a week ago that said they never agree on things, but that's the way he likes it, because something about if everyone is thinking alike then nobody is thinking. He's so cryptic though, who knows what he really means. -
That's cool. So they only played for one "season" though? Would I be jumping the gun to assume your father was the captain? I always assumed that the London Lions were in London, Ontario; based on your profile info.

If they were unwilling to sign Semin to a 1-year deal, what was it $1.25M?, then I don't think they'd trade Helm for him. -

Doesn't sound like Dats will be ready for Thursday, but they are making it sound like it's a possibility and he's a lot closer to returning than expected. Having said that, I'm willing to wager Jurco, Mrazek and XO get sent down so we don't lose any bodies. Unless they surprise us and waive/trade someone.

Because he was the best out of the players that were not waiver-exempt. If they sent him down, he would have to be waived. -
