Don't worry, I'm a professional. Now hold my beer and watch this s***. I don't like it. I noted the other day he had a tendency to want to go down low with the puck, but then he turned it over and was caught with a forward behind him. I don't think anything came of that one, but do that a few times and it will bite you.

He was pulling the logo up on his jersey, proud to be doing that for the Wings.... How does Nail scoring more mean he gets to be more excessive? Wouldn't it be the other way around if Tatar isn't going to score as much?

I agree, no biggie. I know if that was the Wings and they scored I'd be flipping my wig like the crowd there was, so no harm to me. Like others said, it was kind of iffy to skate past your team like that though.

I think it's important to credit Kronwall for improving his hit. He used to get air and launch up a lot more, last year he had several hits where I don't even think his feet left the ice, even after the hit. On that note, Kronwall has stepped up for a big hit the last two games. Guys are bailing on it though. I think it's funny watching guys realize who's coming up the boards at them and frantically try to get out of the way.

He jumped into his ******* head. Seriously, we are complaining about that? Tootoo might have been charging, but he didn't jump into homie. Are we penalizing hard hits or head hits? Kind confused after reading this thread.

To be fair, he had the D's stick between his legs and I think he was trying to tie him up until the Wings could get a shot off, that they never did. I am with you, my initial thought was: "Great, now Mule is just going to literally lay on the ice." -

Well, I feel a little better knowing they remember how to play hockey. Now if they could just remember how to put one in the back of the net, we'll be good to go. On a side note, Brunner has some to learn, but he already get tons of chances. This kids gonna start potting them soon, no way he doesn't. And Tootoo is wrecking shop. Homie got pissed and left his feet on him. Oh well, 22 can handle himself. Same kid who smashed Smith into the boards, I believe.

Seems like they blackout games willy-nilly on GCL. I heard the game against St Louis was blacked out for people in my area too. Not sure why. Although, tonight's game is probably due to being it on NBC Sports Network.

The game is on NBC Sports Network tonight, meaning: even with Center Ice, if you are outside of the Detroit RSN you are forced to watch NBC Sports Network. Sucks, I know. Channel 220 on DTV if you have that channel

We knew they were going to be rusty, I just don't think we expected them to be THAT rusty. I'll admit, I still have not realized the season started, at least it doesn't feel like it. I'm going to consider the first week or two preseason, just so I have time to adjust back into this thing called 'watching hockey'. Saturday night I couldn't help but sit there and laugh. It was horrendous, and we all know it. Let's just hope the boys play at least 60 seconds tonight.
