I'm pretty sure it's also $.50 boneless wing night, or maybe even $.40 wing night. I don't remember which one is tue/thu.
-
Thanks for posting that. Pricey, but nice to know there are 'options'.

I don't see Parise or Suter getting the C. You have to earn that s***, especially here.

LOL. The Rampage did win their first playoff series this year; their first year back affiliated with the Panthers. Then proceeded to get romped by the Barons in the 2nd round. That kid Matsumoto is pretty impressive and they do have Markstrom backstopping them. I think they need to shore up their blue line before they have any real success.

That is very dependent on the composition and make up of the team. LA is made up of 'average players' without a Norris or RR candidate, yet they are getting the job done. Can't put all your eggs in one basket; this is a team sport.

I think so. I've been thinking about doing the same and I wouldn't even be able to go to the games.

I've said it before, I have never seen WC tickets go on sale to the public. It's always the season ticket thing, corporate sponsors, and the NHL always runs promotions to 'win a chance to buy tickets'. If there are $89 tickets, you can probably nab them for $200-300. Yeah it sucks, but how much do you really want to go? Or, you can chance it and just show up and try to get tickets right before the game. That's when all the deals should be since the ticket becomes worthless to anyone once the game is over. I might try that if I can't get a hold of tickets and I live in ******* Texas. Hell, it's probably an event just being outside that game if you can't get in.

Without Budd Lynch we wouldn't have anymore Budd Lynch goals, oh yeah... OP, I'd like a copy of the goal horn mp3 to load onto NHL 12; although I don't remember if they let you set audio for goals or not.

Agreed. I never even gave thought to the Wings pursuing Rads. I'm not sure anyone except for whoever wrote that piece did.

Ha, I thought the same thing when I read it. I was like, when did Ott enter the conversation?

At least it's not Parise/Suter/Lines/Other Beaten to Death Offseason Topic.

http://theproduction...bryan-rufenach/ They didn't post their source. I just saw him play 2 games here for the Griffins a few months ago; he got boarded right in front of my glass seats. RIP brother.

That's what I was thinking. Nashville is already going to have trouble signing a complete roster, much less while throwing 9m at a single player who has yet to prove anything in this league.

Man, that's just too sad. My dad always told me when I was younger, there will be times in life when you have 2 seconds to make a decision, and that 2 second decision can alter your life forever. It appears Bryan had a 2 second decision to make and unfortunately it seems he made the wrong decision. Health incidents are one thing, but this could have been prevented, just like the Yaroslavl incident. That always bugs me the most.

I'm so glad that didn't work out well for them. I was so tired of hearing Nashville fans act like they deserved to get him back after what he did to them and acting like they were the ones that got screwed. Yeah, they did, four years ago. In 2012, 29 other teams were screwed. Fact of the matter is, he should not have been allowed to return to the NHL *after* the trade deadline. Prior to it, no problem, but no way in hell should teams be able to make additions after the deadline. I'm pretty sure that's why the deadline exists. This was a special circumstance and I'm glad it backfired. Wow, 9 per year for 4 years and he rejected it? Either he is delusional or he's running back to KHL money. I wonder if that had anything to do with his attitude and his curfew suspension. He seems like the kind of person to be a little ***** about being a little *****.

I need to find out about this reality thing, you talk about it all the time like we're all missing something really dandy.

Suter was drafted higher as well, same year. People are not talking about fighting or standing up for your team, they're talking about being a ******* ****** bag goon.

2012 SCF : Los Angeles Kings vs. New Jersey Devils
rrasco replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
I'm not surprised at all. The Kings really are making it look easy. 15-2 in the playoffs, as the 8th seed. Very, impressive. -
If he wasn't an RFA, YES!

Yeah, that's a good one. It's cost me a few times, but oh well, that's the way the game goes. I thought the addition of the Winter Classic was a nice touch as well. I feel ya. I can't help but buy it, I feed of these games during offseason, and by September, I'm feigning pretty hardcore. I'm going to have to look into this precision skating, I have not really paid attention to what they were doing with 13 yet as far as changes were concerned.

I thought Kenny already said JMac was starting in GR, but I could be wrong.

I was going to make a joke and ask that you build line combos out of the greatest players, but yeah...

If you are up to date on the game, you will notice the differences. Every year gets incrementally better. That's a development marketing scheme, don't ever add everything the first time around, you always give yourself the ability to upgrade and create the desire for people to upgrade their software, or in this case, buy the new game. One of the biggest additions to NHL 12 was the goalies became interactive. In previous versions if you ran a goalie, you basically hit a wall and stopped. Now, you can get goalie interference or bump the goalie. Goalies can also fight. They also added crease battles, guys get locked up in front of the crease and battle for position. On 1 player you can't control them since you control who has the puck, but in any other mode that you can control an offensive player without the puck, you can give it your best Homer impersonation. They also added broken glass and the ability to check players into the bench. That's all I really remember off the top of my head, as far as game play goes, but they did do other stuff in other modes like add the Legends and maybe some other stuff with the EASHL, but I only play online so I don't know for sure. There are also always tons of little game play tweaks to fix glitches, bugs, or just to alter or make the physics engine better. I could care less about the menu, except it can be a tad involved, I want game play changes to make the game better. In previous years they have added features like broken sticks, disallowed goals and reviews, new face off systems, and a completely new physics engine a few years ago, in 2010 or 2011, I don't remember for sure. I like the subtle changes, it gives you a chance to grow with the game, and IMO it is always getting better. It takes a while to get accustomed to the little things in the game and by only adding a few, they save some features for next year's release, and they let me slowly adapt to the changes they did make. Much like rule changes in the NHL, it's a progressive system. My brothers and cousin still play on classic controls (retard mode I call it). My cousin is finally beginning to accept he can't beat me because he only has limited buttons whereas with default controls, you have much more precision and control.
