I wanted the Rangers to beat the Devils, not just because of the Parise-factor, but because that meant the Kings would have to go through the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seeds in the West only to meet the 1st seed in the East in the Finals. 1, 2, 3 seeds in the West is impressive enough as it is. On that note, so much for all the 'no seed above #5 has ever won the cup' talk. 2012 SCF, History WILL be made. Write that down. -

Kings have to win, that way Parise is still hungry yet experienced. I don't care what people say about Parise staying with the Devils, they still have to be able to afford him. -

It is possible, since they would more than likely be signed before the next CBA dismantles the ability for GMs to structure contracts in that manner.

This. I don't know why people keep insisting the Wings are doomed. Not to mention, how many players make $10mil a year? Are Suter and Parise on par with those players? Starting price will not be $20mil, guaranteed.

That's some ******* weak sauce. Pavs was the perfect fit and they slight him like that. How in the hell do Rinne and Tavares win? Rigged I tell ya. It's all a ploy for traffic and marketing. I bet Giroux or Malkin are on the cover regardless.

I was in the office on LGW when I heard all the chatter from JR and Milbury....I had to walk out to the TV to see if they were going to drop the gloves or not. Milbury is a *****....and he shakes little kids.

Ha. You think there is ANY chance the league says anything negative about it's officials? The closest they came is that one goal earlier this year where they came out the next day and said that it shouldn't have counted since a player slid into Jimmy preventing him from making a save. I don't remember which team or player it was though.

I've been thinking....has anybody seen any other covers for the other athletes? I'm assuming since Johnson is holding that cover, it has some legitimacy to it, but I don't see any covers for the other players, and I also found this other Pavel cover. WOULD IF: Datsyuk is already going to be on the cover and the rest of this is a guise? Do I really think that's what is going on? No, but it would be an interesting story. I can't find any other covers and he's #13. Done deal?
