Honestly, the more and more this gets dragged out past noon just makes me think he's signing here 100% now. He was supposed to have a decision made at noon. Why no announcement coming up on 3pm? 3 hours past your deadline? The more and more closer we get to 4:30ish, the more I honestly think he may be waiting for the team. Ah, i'm just sitting here rationalizing like a good homer fan.

I really hope they broadcast all the events and happy birthday wishes from the 9 teams including the Wings via TV. Whether it be on NBC Sunday or FSD on Monday, I just want to see it go down.

The team plane isn't scheduled to get into Detroit until around 4:37pm est. I don't see him waiting until ~5:00-4:30ish to announce it.

I can only hope he's simply calling teams right now and allowing them to hear from him first that they are not going to get him. Otherwise, it's bad on his agency to announce he will have a decision by noon and not have anything announced or any information pending.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him in on Sunday against Chicago. Or at latest, Monday against Colorado.

I personally think he's been playing outstanding since coming back from his injury. He's strong on the puck, a great center, can play wing, and with out certainly knowing that Pasha will be coming back, we need all the top 6 centers we can get. Jarnkrok will need a year or two atleast before coming within the Wings system. Sheahan is projected to be a third line center so he won't be replacing Filp nor Pasha. Good centers don't come easy.

White needs to learn how to utilize a lane before it closes. His hesitation causes so many jam ups in our zone. Get that transition going buddy. UP UP UP goes the puck.

I thought of a possible scenario. He didn't want to announce anything tonight, because he's actually on his way back to Detroit. Tomorrow morning he will announce that he will be signing with his hometown team in his hometown. The Wings won't be flying out until the morning so I doubt they will be there, but it sounds like a possibility! Hey.. a man can dream.

Ann Arbor had just finalized approving the 2014 Winter Classic a little ago. To my knowledge, Bettman said that it was being pushed a year due to the lockout. Months down the road, he was having talks of maybe not for sure having Red Wings - Toronto, and he was in talks of adding two more additional games the same day; one on the east coast, and one on the west coast. Since it just got approved recently, I would say that it's still on for sure. Also, they allowed the ticket holders to reserve theirs for the following year, so i'm only guessing we're not going to get screwed out of it.

It really is so bittersweet how secret Holland is. I love the fact that you never know what the Wings are doing, and he holds his cards close to himself. His skating was horribad previously, and he didn't have that great of size. He put on more weight over the years and this previous off-season is where his skating REALLY started to shine. He basically just developed slower like many NCAA players and is just now hitting stride (which isn't weird for a defensive player).
