I simply use xbox because it is connected to my tv, so louder + bigger screen you need to have gold in order to use gamecenter? I thought it was strictly just online gaming that gold required. You can get online and whatnot on a free account

Huh? NHL Network, NBC-SN and local games are always blacked out in game center live. If you mean the ability to change between home/away broadcastings, yeah, that's always there. I was just saying that isn't help to him, considering the fact that this game will be blacked on via GCL. The Blues won't be that tired. They played Columbus last night and had Elliott in net, Halak most likely to start against us. They took a 3-0 lead in the first and could cruise control through-out the rest of the game. Obviously they'll be "more tired than the red wings" but I honestly don't think by that much. It'll be a good fought game, Blues know the Wings want redemption, and they'll try to stop it. Like Babcock said, as long as we don't gift them 4 goals, we should be alright.

I respect him for who he was, and what not, but you seriously can't take ANYTHING this man says seriously, take it with a grain of salt. The first fight was to set the tone, Tootoo said it himself. They were chirping at the circle and off they went. I'd rather have them set the tone right off the bat, rather than fight while in the offensive zone breaking a play up and delaying the game. If we want to set tones for fights, let's get it accomplished right from the start, full 60 minute effort. If anything, tootoo was sick and tired of the wings not starting on time and babs most likely smiled.

You would play kindl, another offensive minded defensemen over Huskins, whom is our only true stay at home? Brother, you don't stack a blue line with all puck moving defensemen. You need a good mix of it. Kindl simply needs to play more games, and show his value so we can get more out of him within a package deal. He's going to be a perfect fit for other systems, but not ours. We just simply don't need him right now, and he's fallen too far down the depth chart in my opinion to gain a regular spot.

I'm still sticking to my original idea that this team has the possibility to be a threat. We just need the lineup to be healthy. Our lineup relies wayyyy too much on being injury-free and unfortunately the past recent seasons it hasn't gone our way. If the boys play like they should, people do their job, I don't see any reason why this team can't make some noise during the off-season. They got the talent, and they got the crew, they just need the heart and motivation to carry them. Brunner looks like the real deal so far, and if he continues this play, he needs to be signed before the seasons end ASAP. Other teams are probably drolling over the fact that he is only on a 1-yr term, especially when it's possible he could have a bad experience with detroit if we play poorly. I loved the fact that his experience in detroit has been awesome so far, he loved opening night walking out in the fog seeing all the red lights, he loves the crowd and journey. He could easily become a favorite here, and he is always smiles. I love him already, he just brings another overcasting emotion to the team, they grab his smiles and let it carry. Tootoo has been UNREAL and I hope everyone who was against this signing is eating crow like it's fun. He brings a dimension we haven't had in recent years, and my GOD it feels good to have it back. I just want our fanbase to welcome and keep that boy within our hearts and it looks like that will be happening. Cleary has more than frustrated me, along with Helmer. It seems like he can never stay healthy, and he seriously is my favorite wing next to pasha.

When my parents had it was the storms, wind, etc that just caused service interruptions all the time. Not even heavy storms would kick the service out for awhile. They would magically lose service if a cloud got into the way. Now, this was back in the late 90's-early 2000's when they had it and they had dish network. I gotta think that the technology has grown over the years and they've advanced some things, but in the same sense my neighbors tell me that their dish gets cut out during storms still. I'm just alittle hesitant to change service back to sat, especially when I roll cable and internet through comcast. Although, my experience with comcast since the start has been less than pleasant.

Some areas are forced with certain providers. When I moved into my house, we were told that comcast was the only cable provider that would get our area. Ofcourse we could go satellite but my parents have had it in the past and I absolutely HATED it when they had it. They had gotten rid of theirs after 2 years of service and moved to comcast. So when I had moved into my own house, I was like whatever, comcast it is. Unfortunately, in Howell, we don't get some HD channels that the rest of the state gets, including FSN-D+. So everytime a wings game is on FSN-D+ I have to watch fuzzy snowmen running around. I have gamecenter live but unfortunately i'm not that good at proxying so I could watch the local feed via my xbox (I can't watch wings games via computer, I need my surround sound and big screen boys, (I get INTO the games, straight cellying after every goal)). I had a friend that has WoW and he's always been experiencing one thing or another.

Lol, a thread over 1 shift. So much favoritism that it hurts. I understand that pasha is a great 2-way, one of the best, but do not deny how good zetty is in his own zone. You're underestimating how valuable Z is in his own zone, and on the PK. Another thing, Zetterberg is on the first PK unit while pasha is on the 2nd. Sometimes you waste more of a shift during that PK which would off-set that "1 shift" difference. It's mere seconds, not 5 minutes. Get over the small things, or you're in for a bad time.

Our defense needs Huskins, he's our most reliable stay at home at this point. Numerous times has he been the only one back stopping dangerous plays from happening. He glues people to the boards and locks em out. Not including Smith? What the hell Axe? I know you got some off the wall ideas my man, but forgetting about Smith is just silly. I'm sorry, but when injuries aren't as bad on our blue line, Lashoff is going to have to go back to GR. He's the only one waiver exempt and we're not going to lose someone for free. Unless we get a package deal going before these next 2-3 weeks, I see him unfortunately being sent back down. Not because of his level of play, because I would love to keep him up, just because of the situation. Kronner-White Smith-Huskins Rig-Carlo Quincey rotating (although he's looked better the past 3 games) beauty across the lines, white can cover for kronner. huskins on smith and carlo for rig. Bring back the offensive rig we know, and allow him to use that shot he does have (trust me, the dude can throw a 1T down range).

Really? I haven't been impressed with him today. From the start, he looked like a lost child on the break out. He stayed in datsyuk's hip pocket for the whole break out just wondering, "uhh where do I go?" He gradually has gotten decent throughout the game but he certainly isn't prettty pretty pretty good tonight, atleast in my opinion.

I understand the hate on Quincey for the first few games, but the last 2 games I was impressed with him. Using his body, getting people to the ice, clearing the crease, and he even backchecked to prevent a goal a time or two. His improvement was day and night during the past 2 games. If all of you are going to judge players from 3 game samples, you're going to have a really bad time. Lashoff isn't being sent down, he's simply being scratched for kindl to actually SHOW that he can do something. The organization has given him chance after chance, and unfortunately I feel like his time here is being shortened by the minute, especially in the 48 game season. Lashoff may be sent down the GR, but we need to understand that's how it's supposed to happen. We got lucky by Lashoff's play, we didn't expect him to come in the big show and show cool, collective, poise handling, safe plays, etc. He's waiver exempt, and we sure as hell aren't going to start losing pieces to waivers in a time like this. PACKAGE PACKAGE PACKAGE.

I was questioning Babcock when he first had Brunner out on the 4 vs. 4. I immediately thought he was crazy due to his defensive game but then a new thought had dawned on me. While he may not be the best defensively, 4 on 4 also creates space similar to european ice. The boy knows how to use space when given to him, it's what he's been trained on all this time. So in reality, I think he was more on the 4 on 4 to just go score goals, then to think about defense. Babcock most likely sees his offensive game outweighing his defensive game. I agree that he needs to work on defense, but we have 3-4 year veterans on this lineup that still have problems selecting whom they are responsible for in the zone.

You are opinion wrong! On a more serious note, how can one's OPINION be WRONG? It's called an opinion for a reason. It's THEIRS not YOURS! Talking about the actual thread, I think more kids are prone to junior leagues because they have a bigger shot to make the big show. College is great, but majority of the schools don't have great developmental programs compared to juniors. Of course it's my opinion, but I simply feel development wise, you'll have a better shot at juniors rather than in college.
