I would think they would have a little rust, but not that much beyond anyone else. Weren't both of them attending the "Troy training camp" that the players had organized themselves? I would imagine they both were taking shots during the lockout and had a chance to adjust themselves to the puck again, but obviously not game ready. I think this game will be beneficial by all means and wonder how many other teams are following suite.

I won't make judgements until I actually see what they've done with the powerplay, but i'm sure we have changed the system from just cycling and waiting for the shot, and then hoping for the best infront of the net. Way too much perimeter play and teams would box us out way too hard. We didn't have the power to break through it. The one thing I can say though, is we need smith on one of the powerplay units to quarterback it.

I feel like this will be a big season for Cleary, contract year and he's finally healthy for the first time in 2 seasons. I'm expecting big things paired up with Helmer.

Oh jeez that's unfortunate then. Still from interviews Pavel always said his daughter wasn't coming to America due to he wanted her to grow up within Russian culture. I don't believe his original wife ever came to America. I'm not sure how this changes anything with the situation, if he got a divorce or not. I think his daughter probably holds more pull within his life now, especially because she's older and he's feeling the effects of missing out on his daughters life. She's old enough to start doing things inwhich he isn't around to watch, extra activities whether it be dance, sports, etc.
