Especially when they're playing a game against a potential opponent for the first round, along with the possibility of winning a Presidents trophy. Doan nets one, 3-1 yotes. Blues on power play.

Personally I don't mind what seed we get, as long as we play some good hockey. If we did play the Sharks, I think it would be a huge boost to get past San Jose and give them some confidence that may excel us into the further rounds.

I'm overreacting because I think it's mind boggling that 2 refs and 2 linesmen failed to notice a player on the bench playing the puck to prevent an odd man rush. I'm done arguing with you, obviously you aren't comprehending why I was upset in the first place. The addition of this home-and-home deciding the 3rd seed just added the amplitude of the mistake. I highly doubt you would be "laughing and finding it humorous" if it involved the Wings, I almost can promise you that.

I wouldn't find it funny that my team just got screwed out of a potential 5 on 3 in the ending moments of a game that going to choose who gets 3rd seed. I don't see anything funny about this, quite frankly I see it an insult to the game. Who does that at a level he's playing at?

I'm not defending anyone actually, I think it's absolutely bulls*** that out of 2 linesmen and 2 referees apparently NOONE was watching the play? Are... you... kidding... me... we're not talking about something that was done behind the play, to the side of the play, absolutely nothing. What they SHOULD be watching most importantly is the damn play, which they failed to do so. It's a damn powerplay, and a potential 3 on 2 rushing through the neutral zone, someone and i don't care who, should've had eyes on the damn puck carrier. I'm sorry bud, but I just can't agree with you here. It was a rush through the neutral zone right infront of the benches. For all 2 refs and 2 linesmen to miss that is just beyond me. I can't even see how the linesmen who had to have been staring at the play because its about to enter HIS zone so his eyes SHOULD be on the puck and the play. For all 4 of them to simply miss something this big, is just beyond me.

Honestly, as much as you guys want to sit there and say the reffing was horrible, we can sit there and say the same thing. They allowed A LOT of cheap s*** to happen, and it WAS happening all game. Although I feel like they should've been calling more things, I think they should've kept things alone also but they're also trying to ensure safety with the playoffs right around the corner. Do Blue fans feel like they got cheated out of a game? Sure, whatever have that feeling. Now about the whole Franzen thing, none of us got a clear cut image of what happened but all i've heard from people at the game was Backes threw a dive, Franzen got pissed. If anything, they would've gotten offsetting penalties. I feel the 5 minute powerplay and game misconduct was very very effy but it was a dangerous play and a careless one at that, so I can see why it was called. **EDIT** All in all, that 5 minute powerplay probably motivated you guys more than it helped us. I do believe you guys got a lighting bolt shot through your team and got a shorty. All the 5 minute powerplay ultimately did was fuel you guys and put us in the dog house with babs. **EDIT** I do believe quite vividly Kronwall getting choked with a stick and being dragged to the ground with absolutely no call. So if we want to start throwing the ref excuse, we can do it all day. Just take off your homer glasses before judging how the game is being officiated. One thing i'll say, I love the energy the Blues fans brought to this game, but i'll give you alittle insider news. You should probably cheer your own team on instead of fueling a powerhouse veteran team like Detroit with bulls*** chants of "Red Wings suck!". I thought we were playing Chicago last night when I start hearing that bulls***. But hey, we all know how the cookie crumbled. All in all, I thought it was a good game and i'll say thanks for instilling some confidence back into our team.
