This thread goes to show you how society has changed for the worst. You know it's bad when you legitimately can't take your kids to a sporting event because you fear of the verbal and possible physical abuse you would receive by the hosting team's fans. That's right, fans, people just like me and you. I'm all for the conversation during the game for opposing fans. Heck, I find it amusing to have a little pressure to win the game due to having fans directly there next to you. As long as you keep it clean, I think it's awesome.

I think he's referring to the nod after the goal.
-
Tim Panaccio @tpanotchCSN Voracek uncertain of status for tomorrow. They r watching for concussion. Says hit was clean and his fault
-
John Boruk @JohnBorukCSN Voracek: "that was a clean hit. Hits like that should stay in the game."

I know this isn't going to help you at all, but just to calm your nerves possibly -- Franzen doesn't give two s***tays about the regular season as he has said before the regular season bores him. This isn't the greatest mindframe, especially to announce to the world, but maybe it'd settle you down a bit.

Kronner needs to hold a summer camp to teach young wingers how to breakout along the boards.
-
Doesn't count, play was called dead before the puck crossed the net. They would go to video review, determine when the whistle was blown, and call accordingly. Reminds me of the Brad May goal against Dallas
-
To get it fixed it will require time they don't currently have. On the short scale, it's one of those things were you want to keep playing on it in fears of what it would feel like once given the chance to set in. Maybe it would lock up on him if he were to take a few days off, so he continues to just wear on it.
-
They need to convert. Everyone is looking to assist someone else, they just need to register to shoot the puck and go for secondary chances. They're dirty, but goals don't care what they're called as long as they count.

I don't believe that's the real ring, or atleast I can't see the numbers. Legitimate Stanley Cup rings have each players number on it, and quite frankly that would be the first thing I took a picture of if I had just found a "real" ring.
-
That's some outstanding and informative stuff, thanks buddy!
-
No he won't. Points aren't the only dictator of whom will win the Norris. Karlsson has defensive collapses and still is learning how to play great defense. Sure, he can throw up some numbers and is doing so, but that doesn't mean he will be bringing the Norris home. Shea Weber will be the winner most likely.
-
I don't see it happening, if it does, strictly due to reputation. Not saying that he doesn't deserve it, but there are better options out there currently. The front runner will most likely be Shea Weber.

So what we're getting at is his wife's ex-husband is responsible for Stuart leaving us this offseason? *******. Which leads me to believe that he most likely as an ******* before all of this!

With Quincey being picked up and becoming the 5/6th "D-Man" currently where does this leave Smith filling a spot? I know big E is out for a month due to injury, but I don't understand that once he comes back they're willing to sit him over Brendan Smith. We just signed a new contract, in all honesty he hasn't been playing that bad, actually has used his body and we've seen a decrease in his dumb forced passes. I LOVE Brendan Smith, but I just don't see this being anything more than just a injury call up.
-
This is the best thing i've read all day.
-
I'm happy. Could he have done more? Absolutely, but i'm not mad that he didn't do anything more than the Quincey move. I'm not sure exactly was the reasoning behind Commie to TB, but whatever. I wish we would've kept him for some size when we needed it.

You must not post on HFBoards frequently, come back after a week of HFB and you'll understand.

Kyle Quincey traded to Detroit in 3 team trade (TBL & COL)
evilzyme replied to Tim.D's topic in General
You know, as much as it sounds harsh -- you can't not admit the stress of being involved with trade talks would be mentally wearing. He's got a point, they were talking about moving some guys, so it would be hard to focus on things when they're such a young group of guys. Should've used better words, but really you can't be all that pissed. -
He's still trying to find his way into the Winged Wheel
-
Ughhh, thats no good. I miss that beautiful hair flowing through the air. Poor Pattie Eaves.

Good on you for expressing your hate for the Hawks, haha. That's awesome, I still to this day haven't randomly ran into NHL'ers. If I did, I would most likely act like a little school girl. Atleast I got to skate all over the ice at JLA though!
-
To each his own view, but let it be known... you don't realize how much you miss an element until it's gone.
-
Is it just me, or does anyone else just absolutely love the Griffins sweater? Whenever I have captain in drop in games I force my team to be sporting the Griffs sweater, thing's just a beaut.
-
I come down on him because he seems to have this giant urge to remind people how important this game is to the city of Vancouver. I'm not saying it's not a "measuring stick" type of game, but when it boils down to it..... it's the regular season and its a game worth 2 points. Now, do you still want to consider this game a "measuring stick" with injuries and key players missing? I'm not exactly sure you can measure yourself to a team that is missing one of their key elements, which forces lines to be shaken up, which forces missed chemistry. Now, back to the original point.. he also doesn't need to find himself all over the board simply saying "Oh it's because of how big this game is!", ect ect ect and not say anything else. Hell, i'm all for talking hockey. It's all I do, hockey and politics. If i'm not watching hockey i'm watching politics. If he cares to post on this board, atleast bring some conversation to the table. From what it seems, all he's trying to do is troll and get excitement out of people. That's all i'm saying. Did I go far with the Vancouver comment? Yeah, i'll admit that. I honestly haven't had a good experience, or met in real life a Vancouver fan that actually wants to have a genuine hockey conversation. Maybe I haven't run into the right fans of Vancouver, but that's simply it.
