Damn kook, you deserve credit for this. I know you're right about GIF's not needing it but hell, when its something along this sorts where there isn't that many remakes you should receive credit.

Speculation is we're signing the Jesus. You said it, man. Nobody f***s with the Jesus.

I woke up, logged onto to facebook to do alittle creepin on what the world is up to this glorious morning and long behold Detroit Sports Nation reports Brad McCrimmon has be fired.... I immediately shout and start jumping like a happy little school girl. My girlfriend looks at me and says "My god what the hell is wrong with you" my immediate response is "MY EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT, MCCRIMMON IS GONE." She doesn't exactly understand the importance of this move, but it's okay, I have enough joy about this for the both of us.

Modano should've been played but he wasn't. He was only used when he was NEEDED to. In my own opinion he wasn't played because he announced that this was his last year of hockey. After that statement was released to the media you magically seen him gone from the rosters. I believe he wasn't played because he had the experience and everything. They knew Modano wasn't going to be there next season so they wanted to let others take advantage of the situation and expand on their chance. Experience is built on chances on these and obviously in my opinion they liked their younger, less experienced players get the chance to play these games to make them better in the long run, instead of someone who they already knew and announced their retirement practically.

This is atleast 6 months old, it was posted here I believe before this. Not trying to be an ******* just trying to throw it out there. It normally was an 10 minute segment done by dove inwhich they capitalized on how Babock was one of the best coaches and how he integrated family and hockey life together, how he got to where he is today, ect. It was a good segment. Thanks for bringing it up again, i'm sure a lot of people may have missed out on a great video. EDIT: I tried to find the original segment for you Alex, I'll check the rest of the sites tomorrow. I'm sure people would love the full segment about him.

Unless either of them had legally changed their names to Sid the ***** i'd for see them being just fine by the time game 1 of the regular season 2011-2012. Can anyone call Mario Lemieux to check their status? I keed I keed.

I'm not aiming at true fans and understand the history of all Canadian teams. Trust me, I don't think we'll ever see explosions and public displays of emotion towards hockey in any city of the United States. I'm aiming my gears more towards the fans of the Canucks from HFB, otherwise I love the franchise and Ryan Kesler is easily one of my favorite current non-wing players. I've been one of the few sitting on this forum saying we shouldn't be down and I understand the unfortunate's of much of the NHL for not having such success as the team i've grown up watching and modeling my game after my role model players that i've watched. There's no need for a pissing war by any means, as I generally like away fans that come on these forums, it's just some of the trolls that make my neck snap and I get all loose.

He knows he has more hockey left in him, he'll be back again next year. One year at a time. It'll be another long decisive decision but we'll be seeing #5 again next year.

Not a day ago did I read numerous threads of "OH MY GOD IF WE LOSE GAME 7 I SWEAR TO GOD, NEVER WATCHING HOCKEY AGAIN OMGOMGOMOMGOMG?!" all across the shark boards. I have absolutely nothing and I mean nothing against opponent fans on the normal basis of them coming here and having an actual chat but to come here and start screaming we're bitching all of a sudden because what you actually made it to the western conference finals? Good, I hope you guys can actually make it past that just for the sake of Todd McLellan. I think most fan's are ashamed of your piss poor team and their display of sportsmanship when it comes to the sport of hockey if anything.
-
Honestly, the western and eastern conferences practically play a whole different style hockey. Most would say that Detroit would go to the eastern conference and just rape, well I would agree to the point of making the playoffs every year but I wouldn't go as far to say that we would "steam roll" through a conference. I would HATE to go to the eastern conference as it seems that the competitiveness in the western is higher and it seems the eastern conference team normally comes into the SCF unprepared for the powerhouse that is the western conference.

Why do we always have key people out in the playoffs?
evilzyme replied to 10 Minute Misconduct's topic in General
It wasn't our year and we can't be mad at the comeback from 0-3 deficit. The series could've went either way, although I've lost hope on any western conference team winning the cup this year. -
I won't even sit behind my own conference after all of this. I'll root for Tampa for Stevie Y and Boston for Tim Thomas for being from Michigan. I'd be damned if I allow the Vancouver bandwagon fans receive a cup and i'd throw up if I ever saw the San Jose Sharks with their "leader" raise the cup. Whatever, go eastern conference. I'll seriously puke if a western team wins this year.

Detroit Sports NationFranzen will not play tonight, Kris Draper returns to the lineup I like it, would rather have the speed than an injured ankle.

The OP asked what do you think about the Green men, so I responded... I think they copied off of Charlie. It's one of my favorite shows my man.
-
Yeah they were petting her and what not. They interviewed Fisher after the game and he said he would've kissed her if it wasn't such a serious game.
-
I think they copied off of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Charlie for LIFE

Here's the full article: http://blogs.mercury...s-strong-words/ Anyways heres some of the quotes from it: Finishing with this quote: This is exactly what I was thinking when I heard JR say this about Marleau last night, I really just think hes trying to lit a fire under his ass so he gets into his form.

Sharks showed their frustration of their horrible play and tried taking it and possibly injuring some of Detroit. It's their goon aspect of hockey, what can you say its San Jose, they try to mimic what the Detroit organization is yet completely neglect the class that follows with. From the captain down their team is nothing but immature players that wouldn't think twice about anothers health, I could only imagine how selfish that locker room is. It's sad to see them all dog pile on Howard, it seems like they were hoping for the best with that one. I can see shades of Jarome Iginla in Joe Thornton right now.

He's there to prove the world wrong, i'm agreeing in complete with Ken and Mikey when they said last year was probably the best thing for him. Even though he lost, he gained so much from last years playoffs. He looks cool, calm, and collective in net this post series, and that quote from round 1 still has me in goosebumps.

Detroit Sports Nation reports Kris Draper out, Jiri Hudler in. Random report, waiting for confirmation. Quote from facebook status from DSN:
-
I think Hudler played a good game yesterday, he was out there to prove he could actually continue in the lineup. Modano did alright but more than what Mule could bring to the table right now considering his injury. I did miss Drapes speed though with Helmer. I'm not sure who I would use come game 7, I guess thats what Mike Babcock is for anywho!
-
Game 7 will be on FSN Ken Daniels announced that he would be seeing us come Thursday night!

I thought it was because the Orca was Don Cherry's favorite animal. Heard he had a shrine for them

I'm not sure if you're serious here. Ryan Clowe: 2 assist game 2 3 assist game 4 1 assist game 5 Sharks total: 14 goals. ~42.8% Clowe has assisted on He's been a big part of their game this series and is their top point producer and leading in assist in this post-season.
