I've seen one bad one by Rafi I believe game 3, he pulled a high sticking penalty. Haven't seen some outrageous ones but we're surely not the innocent group either.

I find myself liking this thread a lot more than the Draper hater over there. Thanks for cheering me up, that thread was really getting to me.

I had to stop watching after the 13th clip of him just celebrating. I love young highlight videos but I can't stand watching just the celebration, let me see the play and what the kid actually does. Hope for the best in his future.

And Ryan Clowe is out for Sharks http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2011/05/sharks_ryane_clowe_doesnt_make.html

I personally like the Kerry Fraser articles on TSN, he talks a lot of honesty when it comes to the game. If you haven't you should read his article concerning "make up" calls. Towards this article it was an obvious dive, there was no "trip" by Franzen, the stick barely went above the lip of his skate and he has shin pads. Does it hurt? Hell yeah it hurts if he actually connected with skin but I highly doubt it. The worst is that "big joe" went down holding his face like he had gotten high sticked. I was surprised he wasn't biting his lips while he was down there trying to sell a double like some Shark players I know.

That's awesome man, I think some fans may not know about the Detroit "Cougars" haha.

Anyone notice Ericsson's face before the hit, he sees Kronner line up and hes so giddy looking, he knows what was about to go down and only dreams of laying bodies like that. He should've had his notebook out for some notage. EDIT: Aww you really can't see the wings bench on this video, I saw it live with Ericsson's face. I'll look for a better video displaying it because it's too funny.

Did you make this because I saw it on HFBoards earlier? If ya did good job, just hope you're not stealing someone's work claiming for your own, very against that! Got this one from a blog:

I don't see how they don't find it fair to start IMMEDIATELY changing their stance towards diving. I don't see why they need to "start next round" with the punishments, if the problem exist right now you solve it, you don't brush it until "next round." Thats like a serial killer on the loose, you find out who it is, but you delay catching him and putting a stop to his killing spree after your Florida vacation, just doesn't make any sense.

But he comes out clean and says that he just has something against Marleau

Haha, me and my girl went to a Friday night game once so parking at Greektown was $10 but in return they gave you a comp for a $10 playercard. Anyways, after the game we were pretty down because we had lost to Vancouver or Chicago (forgot which one was the Friday game in March) and decided we'd play some slots with the $10 and hang out before we drove home. Sat down at some random 2 cent slot and was randomly hitting the max buttons or whatever and won ~90 bucks. Felt so accomplished that night, goes to show you I don't gamble that much

I always park at greektown casino (parking is free) and then take the people mover to JLA, it cost .50 cents each way so $1/person. Best way for me.

No it isn't about if the Sharks win, its how he broadcast favoritism on national television. I understand everyone has their teams and biased opinion in the sports world but the number one rule in broadcasting is to not show emotion. I forgot what it was, but it was I believe a segment done by FSN-D about the pistons (forgive me if I massacre this, basketball isn't my speciality) and how a broadcaster said they werent allowed to cheer at any point of the game or show emotion. He went to say it was so hard not to show emotion during a really intense game, ect. If you're going to be a national broadcaster, you SHOULD speak your mind, but not make it so obvious you're favoring them.

Couldn't agree with you anymore, trust me, i'm a die hard and am just as emotional as the next guy when it comes to my favorite sport and team. I eat, breathe, and sleep hockey and Red Wings and have for the past 18 years i've watched them. I just saw a lot of things yesterday that I thought shouldn't have been said with all the rubbing in each other's faces when we're all fans of the same thing. Wasn't trying to get on anyone's case, just don't like to see the stuff inner-fanbase.

Is this even a real commercial or is it just a fan made parody? I went to check NHL.com but havent seen anything and HFB hasn't updated their HWBM thread with new commercials.
-
Couldn't agree with you more brother, I think we need to step back into reality and understand that this series is still 3 games to 2 and San Jose only needs that last one. It's great to see our team fight but i'm not here to start celebrating yet, neither do they.
-
Lucky may have not been the word for it, possibly deserved I suppose? I'm just saying Game 3 Detroit deserved to win. One could argue you don't deserve a game that you lose but I was just saying we played great Game 3 and found a way to lose it. San Jose played great last night and looked like they were going to wrap things up last night but found a way to lose it. I guess we can both agree that we're equaled out the "found a way to lose it" stat. Eh, nevermind we found a way to lose Game 1 too.

I logged on after the game last night just to see everyone's expression and saw this random "bandwagon" trend going on randomly at LGW now, and seriously it needs to stop. I'm not saying you're the problem but you're certainly not the solution by continuing to "rub" this fact into fans faces last night and still today. At the end of the day, i'm pretty sure we're all fans of the game and no one needs to be declared a bigger fan than the other.

My god man, I swear I was laying there with my girlfriend just depressed and was like well we've gotten outplayed, can't be sad about it but its about done. She saw how depressed I was and I told her "I would turn off the tv and just call it a night but for the sake this may be the last time I watch Lidstrom play, i'm going to just sit here and finish it." Still depressed I watched one goal to another and once they tied it all I said was, "oh my god, please don't be ******* with me Wings." The emotions of that game just killed me, by the end of it I was shaking. Ugh, come to think about it, I get way too emotional about hockey. Just kidding, you can never be too emotional towards hockey.

I certainly don't think Babcock is going to let them get off with an easy day, especially considering he absolutely hated their play in the first and second. They got away with a lucky win, San Jose got their's game 3 we got ours game 5. It's back to getting our mind straight, game 6 will be the biggest of this series for sure.

Whoa my man, I mean Big Joe doesn't have that much body weight, and he obviously got shot in the face from the slash to the low shin. I wonder how much he paid Sid the Kid to teach him the "I just got shot in the face" move.
-
Doesn't Cobo Joe's right by JLA always do this before games? Atleast when I went there before a Hawk's game they had it on the floor for a mat.
