Dude stop, seriously, all I see from you on this forum is negativity and quite honestly its getting really ******* annoying. You obviously don't give a f*** about the Wings by complaining EVERY SINGLE ******* POST you write. You worsen my vision every time I have to read the rambled bulls*** you post. You act like the Wings weren't playing great that period, whatever, they got penalties s*** happens. Besides the great penalty kills, did I forget to mention we only allowed 2 shots on a 5 on 3? Oh you obviously must of forgot that while you were complaining the whole period like a pessimist. When we WEREN'T on the penalty we played absolutely fine and were creating chances, seriously, stop being so ******* negative... UGH /rant

I believe that was a good period besides the penalties, I think when we were in their zone we were doing good things, throwing pucks on the net. Defensively the penalty kills was great, good coverage. I still think we'll come out top this game, ref's are trying to f*** us pretty good by calling the smallest of things on our end but letting things fly for the yotes. Usual thing we see here in Detroit though post-season, we'll overcome and conquer!

Like I said earlier, Salei who is a veteran ed defensemen or Kindl who is a rookie plays for our #6 defensemen in the playoffs. I'm just saying I would take the experience more calm cool collected person who has experience with an playoff atmosphere and style hockey. Kindl may have looked good during the regular season when things werent up for grabs, but things change come playoffs. The smallest mistake can cost you your run at the cup. I'd feel safer with someone with experience holding the blue line. Sorry if i'm coming off harsh or assholey right now, its ~2 hours to puck drop and my testosterone levels peak an all time high before playoff hockey. I'll be jumping, screaming, punching alot of closet's during tonights game.

I personally think Salei has been doing fine this year, besides getting him cheap I think hes been doing alright... he's a great shutdown defensemen that was cheap on the market. You want to get a veteran defensemen for that much? And Babcock obsessing about him? Last time I checked Salei played almost all season and Babcock is making him fight for the 6th spot in the playoffs with a ROOKIE Kindl, but hey, we all have our opinions right? Wear's #24 because he's as slow as Chelios? My man, you obviously think we're the ******* Edmonton Oilers with our young skill set huh? You don't need speed when you have good positioning, atleast Salei backchecks with some heart unlike Rafi who just stares them down as they get a break... he'd rather change lines than to backcheck with the play on an odd man rush...

Sounds likke youre doing the hamlin thing. They normally got us there 30 minutes early. So hopefully you get there in time! Going to saturdays game with them.

I want to see: Lids/Rafi - I understand Lidstrom is trying to explore being a somewhat offensive defensivemen this season and thats great and all but we all know he's very keen on positioning and I will always consider him a defensive defensemen. Pairing Stuart with Lids just leaves two defensive defensemen that are slow, Rafi is good at pinching and obviously right handed is great for passing back and forth between the points. Stuart/Kronwall - Two big bodies, Kronwall is pushing the play and plays the role of offensive defensemen. Kronwall has stepped up his play and I believe Stuart and him will play great together. Kindl-Salei/Ericcson - Alright... Big E, yeah yeah we all know, I think hes lacking the confidence right now. Kindl or Salei we know this would be the weakest pairing we have but I don't think it will be nearly as bad as it is right now. I like Salei, I think hes a good shut down defensemen when he uses his body.

Yeah ecstasy of gold was the 2010 intro for regular season, they had the "I am Hockeytown" theme last year if I remember, which quite frankly I didn't find that good. I hope they bring the pyro back for these playoffs Here's to embed for you for others:

Normally every playoff game i've been to it starts around maybe... 15-10 minutes before game-time. I've never been to a game that the intro takes 30 minutes even for the round 1 game 1.
