Where's the interview at? And about Teemu, they've been chirping after their first game win. Let them, as I said earlier, let it fuel the boys. If Bruce wants to chirp and Teemu wants to chirp, let em chirp. It takes 4 wins before you get rid of us though, so I would be very wise before opening your mouths after a single victory. It's usually not a good idea after a win to add chirps at the same time, especially in the playoffs. You already know the other team is going to try and redeem themselves for their previous loss, and then you chirp and fuel the fire some more. Come on swinging tonight boys!! Believe it or not, his skating was pretty horrible in his younger years. His skating really came to light within the past 1-2 seasons. His size was a problem, and overall he wasn't the player he is today. In honesty, I think he made his most development between his sophomore and junior year when he knew he wanted to go to the NHL the following year. He could have gone to the NHL last year, but he wanted that extra year to get his body ready and get smoother wheels. It paid off big time as he certainly has made the transition very smooth. To add on top of that, DeKeyser has always valued his education. He put his education before hockey, and it showed big time last year when he didn't go to the NHL. In his latest interviews, he says how Andy Murray (IIRC) had a big impact on that. Murray showed him statistics of players that left their sophomore year, and then their junior year and graduation rates. Sophomores were sitting at like 10-13% and Juniors were sitting at 60-70%. With a difference that big, and his motivation to gain a degree, it influenced him to stay another year.

HF was saying that he apparently has stated that he doesn't like NHL travel. His daughter still goes to school here, and apparently he wants to coach his son? I'm not sure, but that's what they were saying. They stated it like a well known rumor.

The word from HF is that there has been rumor of him taking over for Red at UofM. Does his son play there?

There's no way Babcock would do something insane right before the playoffs, especially given our situation. I would only hope he would announce an extension with the franchise? He's too classy to do otherwise....

Did you happen to see Emdog chasing after him? One of the best clips from last night. Tootoo starts cellying hard, Emmerton is trying to catch up to him and the change of dynamics in Emdog's face when Tootoo goes flying past him... oh my. I was laughing for a bit.

Khan said Franzen is reporting that he is confident he will be playing tonight.

Nyquist has surprised me. His previous call-ups were lackluster and I was getting nervous that he was simply one that was dominant at every level except the big show. Completely changed my opinion. I thought he was going to be a lot more stronger on the puck than last season; he's finally displaying that now. Him and Tatar would be a deadly force together. Both small, both incredibly strong on the puck for their size. Incredible speed to break the neutral zone and cause space within the offensive zone. Goose is more of the playmaker though, while Tatar could be his finishing touch. Tatar strives to pot em, and is regarded as the goal scorer of the two. They could easily be a dominant 1-2 punch, but in the same sense, Goose and Brunner could be.

Dallas is not going to help by any means. This is a must win for Dallas if they have any chance at making the playoffs. Tonight's game between Columbus and Dallas is going to be very entertaining, as it's a must-win for both teams. You could say that Nashville is just going to roll over and help them out, but they have numerous rookies trying to fight for playing time next season. This is the time for the youngsters to show they want to make the lineup next season. Give Trotz something to think about over the off-season and before training camp. They want to leave everlasting impressions with the coach, and it starts now.

There's many honorable players that won't have the ring to back things up, but it isn't a reflection of their play. Shane Doan is an outstanding player, has a huge heart, and loves the city he plays for. He's simply like Iggy when it comes to Phoenix, and unfortunately, he still got screwed over. He re-signed on terms that the Jamison deal was going down, and last I knew, that plan had fallen through again. And besides, you gotta give it to Doan, that was an outstanding chirp. Abby was doing a good job all night getting under their skin. He was playing a more effective pest than i've seen Tootoo all season. The best part is that he was still doing his job while getting them pissed off. I don't think he would've fought Doan if Doan hadn't charged Datsyuk after the play.
