Omg love Pevy, always wanted him in the wheel (but of course Nill cleverly got him). Really hope he's ok. Very good underrated player Rich is.

Haha bounce back? Mule and nyquist are the laziest players on our team, that's why they're first line. They will never bounce back, they are slumping and suck

Question: 2 scoring line/2 checkers or 3 scoring/1 checker?
number9 replied to Richdg's topic in General
I'd go a mix line and 1 checking line. The more scorers you can get on the mix line the better, but i don't think it's necessary to have all scorers on the third line -
Kill the time traveler!!!

Franzen took the afternoon off, and Howard couldn't make a save with Quincey in front of him. Everyone else on the team had the best 3rd of their careers. Typical stuff.
-
Can't believe Franzen didn't score today. What a lazy POS

We have Danny and E. That's two good defensive Dmen. Kronwall pretty reliable as well. Why we would we add a big defensive Dmen when the only Dmen who can move the puck is Kronwall? I'm adding an OFD all day and a DFD if I'm feeling crazy

Wisniewski, Visnovsky, Nabokov, Ehrhoff, and now Vanek. Seems no player has any desire to be there. Snow actually gets his players on great contracts but can't trade or sign FA's for the life of him. After all the missteps by management, gotta think players will start demanding trades out of there. His core all has very attractive price tags. Maybe Holland can join the fun for once and fleece snow for a player. PS saw on reddit that they're fans are planning a 2nd period walkout soon. At least they know they're team is a joke.

Our bottom 6 is way better than theres, thats about all i can say

I think we all agree the team needs a big time D-man. Especially a guy who can move the puck up the ice and put some points on the board. Looking at SJ's contracts, I think they're going to have a real hard-time re-signing Boyle. He could be a good 1-year Alfredsson type stop gap player. Would take some pressure off Smith, Kindl, D, Lashoff, and the upcoming youngens for a year. Did I mention he's RH

My bad, I just realized he played in the last game and that lazy bastard scored a bunch, who woulda thought? After his last concussion LGW had me convinced his career was over. Guess I gotta start actually watching hockey games.

Looks like Zetterbergs, Franzens, AND Helms careers are over now. Shame.

Trade Legwand to Detroit for Eaves, Jarnkrok + cond 3rd/2nd

WE LIKE OUR TEAM -
If all are re-signed but Cleary and the team is healthy, u have to send Jurco and Sheahan down. Only ones eligible.

Broduer (I thought when I saw it)

Here's what I think our FA's could demand (not what they will command) Legwand (4 to 5.5) Alfredsson (3 to 5.5) Bertuzzi (1 to 2) Cleary (1) Tatar (1 to 3) Sheahan (1 to 2.5) Glendening (1 to 1.5) Quincey (1.5 to 2.5) DeKeyser (2.5 to 3.5) Gustavsson (1.5 to 2) I think we can all assume Cleary is gone. But say all the others are re-signed at their max asking price, we're above the cap by 3.5 (that's with forcing Sheahan, and Jurco down, and having a 23 man roster) that's not bad considering most those guys won't get those numbers, and thinking that 1-2 of Alfredsson, Bertuzzi, Quincey won't be back either.

Definitely a 2nd liner. Good insurance for if Weiss does completely bust on us -
I disagree with Bert playing well. Specifically, he doesn't look like he knows where to go in both zones (which I don't understand with his once offensive prowess) in different situations and he's slowing down. He's still the best backboard we got though, so I guess there's value in that. That AMA guy said he's the locker room bad ass too. So if we need a father figure for the young NA boys I guess there's that too.

Legwand didn't want to re-sign with them -
Stripping Howard of the net would be bad for his confidence, and we've invested in him long term. He's gotta know Babs still believes in him while trying to end this slump

(Shut up and let me troll Rich)

Nope, only Defenders. Have you seen our forward corps?

he's also 39 which says he may be done.
