I like football when it's the playoffs. But I can't watch basketball - ever. It's far too high scoring of a game to keep my interest. More often than not, the teams stay pretty much tied and the game ends up being "who can take the last shot?" They should just play a 2 minute game and get it over with.

Well, they are Canucklehead fans. We all know that if the Wings are there to play, this game is going to be a hard-fought battle on both sides. If the Wings don't show up, though, we may as well write the L in pen on our sheets. I'm going to be nerve-wracked until I see the boys play.

Hopefully the Wings can win this one. Vancouver is an awesome team and if we're both playing to our potential, it'll look like a playoff game. But we won't win this game like we did last night. Vancouver is not going to blow a lead like Calgary did. I'm starting the tradition early. Howard sucks! He's the epitome of a terrible goalie. He's going to let in 12 goals tonight. Death to Howard!

It's funny. Reading the game day thread on the Calgary boards, you wouldn't even know Kostopolous hit anyone let alone broke someone's jaw. They literally have said nothing about it.

Because right before the third, I asked who was going to suck and Howard got the most votes. According to the laws of the LGWland, this means he stands on his head from that point on. I think I'll continue this tradition.

SOs always make me want to cover my eyes. It's so nerve-wracking. That and I just plain don't like them. I don't feel it takes into account which team put the better effort out on the ice. I always like to win but when the Wings play like chumps, squeak themselves to the SO, then win because of it, I get pissed off at the league.
