Congrats to Mule on becoming a daddy.. and his wife on becoming a mommy. Okay. Z's turn.

I think they'd both make great captains, honestly. But I also think the Red Wings organization has been counting on Z to fulfill that role when the time comes. I once read an article in which the writer was asking some of the Red Wings players who their most inspirational teammate was and why. Aside from the obvious Lidstrom answer, a lot of them said Zetterberg because of his determination and work ethic both on the ice and in the locker room. And many of them talked about how Z was the one they went to when they needed to talk to someone about an issue they were having. Guess we'll just have to wait & see.

Honestly, my beef with him is the same beef I have with Crosby. They're both good hockey players, it's his personal character that I can't stand. The guy is just a ******.

Florida is a popular spot for Michiganders. It's just a straight shot down 75. Also, I never really understood why people would get angry at opposing fans at their arena. After all, that money they're spending is going to YOUR hockey organization.

I don't know. I can't stand him. Not only does this video show how much of a complete dbag he is, it shows how the idea of professionalism has never sank into his brain. I don't give a crud what you say behind closed doors to your teammates, friends, and family. But to act so unprofessional to a fan? Hang up the skates, Avery. You don't belong anywhere near this league.

Funnily, I was just thinking to myself "Heritage Classic? WTF is that?" There's a rumor going around that it's going to happen but the Thrashers have been denying it on the news here.

I missed most of this game. How did the boys look? The score doesn't tell me much.

Last night was close to what it looked like at the Wings/Thrashers game down here in Atlanta. It was amazing. I loved it.

I actually won't mind it as much if we lose this game just because it's Stevie Y's team.

That's too bad. I hope he's okay and that this is just a minor bump in the road for him. I will be keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.

Yeah.... I was there for the Thrashers/Wings meeting this season. It was pretty sad. I had to listen to Ross harp at me all night about it too. It's okay though, all I had to say was "And how many Stanley Cups do the Thrashers have?" and he shut right up, lol.

Well, living in metro Atlanta, I can tell you one thing for sure... when there's a Wings game downtown - Phillips Arena is sold out and BOTH Thrashers fans even show up! Honestly though, when the Wings play here, it looks and sounds like a home game. I love it.
