It was a good game and I enjoyed seeing the fights, but by the end I was pretty tired of it. It started out as the Pens trying to shift the momentum of the game and it turned into downright annoying when it began being the reaction after EVERY whistle blew.

I read an article yesterday about how last home game vs. the Preds, the Wings were booed off the ice by their own fans. They said that they deserved the boos and that providing a better experience for the home fans was at the top of their priority list. Let's see if they can do that today.

I agree. In the two shut out games and even last night's game to some extent, the Wings had damn near zero net presence. I recall Franzen filling that roll incredibly well in '08. What the heck happened to that? -
Listening to these announcers is more funny than it is annoying. They're so wrong about everything.

I went to the Wings vs. Thrashers game in Atlanta in November and it was like being at a home game for the Wings. For those who haven't been, the arena in Atlanta is directly attached to the CNN building's massive food court/entertainment area... which ends up being where everyone waits for the doors to the arena to open drinking their beer. It was just a sea of red jerseys as far as you could see.
