I wasn't telling you specifically to move on. I was saying "move on" as a general statement that can apply to everybody. Snow, Nabby, the Wings, and ALL of us. It's over now. Nothing can change. If he didn't want to play for a "s*** team", his agent shouldn't have been giving statements that claimed the opposite. And once they realized what kind of position it put Nabokov in, they should've cleared up those comments with the parties involved. They didn't. You don't let it fly around for awhile and then be surprised when it begins to confuse people.

The Devils and the Oilers goalie situation was nowhere near as dire as the Islanders was. Everybody continues to forget that the goalie the Islanders were relying on got injured the night before Nabby was placed on waivers. I really don't understand how anybody could NOT see why Snow would grab Nabokov. You have to have some awfully rosy red glasses. He signed with the Wings FULLY AWARE that any team ranked below the Wings could scoop him up off of waivers. He signed that contract and he effectively agreed to the risks when he did so. He took a risk. He lost. Move on.

I'm pretty sure they're only considering hockey smarts - not intellectual smarts. And Datsyuk's a smart player and all, but I can't really compare him to Crosby. But I will say that I just don't think Crosby is a "smarter" player than Lidstrom. Just my opinion, though.

Well, yeah.. that's kind of the entire point of this whole project. The point is to find a way for parents to get their young children into the sport through a means the child would be most interested in. The fact that a bunch of older hockey fans think this project is terrible means nothing to the creators. They aren't making this stuff for you or me. And for how terrible it is, over 1,000,000 fans on Facebook have been participating and voting for which Guardian is revealed next. Needless to say, this isn't going anywhere. Apparently, it's working just fine for the intended market.
