    Wiz is a dick.

As good UFA D-men get bought up and while Ericsson is over paid I would be pissed getting Commodore. I noticed your division rivals, Nashville, went backwards with dealing Sully, Ward and Goc. Look at the bright side...you don't have too worry about them taking it to you in the season series nor do you have to worry about them getting out of the 1st round this coming season.

Ehrhoff's rights traded to NYI, then traded to Buffalo

Christian Ehrhoff has declined the Islanders' contract offer, choosing instead to become an unrestricted free agent when the market opens on Friday. He could always come back to the Islanders over the weekend, but if the Islanders are smart, proud, confident and have learned anything, they should close the door and keep aiming higher. Much higher. Oh well. 'Twas a valiant try by Charles Wang, Garth Snow, Doug Weight and the Islanders.

    Stamkos Re-Signs With Lightning

Kenny wont pull the trigger on Stamkos, however, our President Cam Neely will. He's bold enough to do it. Savard is done.. I believe their just going through the motions letting him set the pace given him respect cant imagine its an easy thing to do... I'm sure it is hard from him to make the decision. But Savard will NOT BE BACK... he will sign the retirement papers so they can free cash up if push comes to shove and need be but at the moment they are not pressuring him UNLESS things changes...

    Stamkos Re-Signs With Lightning

Well its not looking to bright for some player, word is the Bruins might not spend to cap. Krejci/Rask/McQuaid RFA after 11-12. Many of the guys will be UFA. They say they need space for raises/replacements... could they be making some room for a STAMKOS trade... hmmmmmmmmmmm just a wondering. I'm willing to bet they all ready are... NEELY has it in him.. to blow the NHL wide open on a shake up .. but like i said if that is happening.. no one will ever find out until the day it's done and signed... @NHLNSider James Jackson 1 year, 3 million dollar contract for Roloson to Tampa.

    Stamkos Re-Signs With Lightning

LMAO Kenny is tight with his money. You guys would have to dump some serious salary to even be in the Stamkos lottery. With Savard on the shelf my B's have over 20 mill in cap space...Chiarelli should go after Stamkos.

    RFA/UFA Signings

So is the Stamkos deal being held up because Steve Y currently cursing Tampa's previous ownership for signing Lecavalier to that monster contract? LMAO does he finagle a way to make it work?

    RFA/UFA Signings

Countdown to July 1: Are Flyers targeting Stamkos? hmmmmmmm seeing im hearing sum buzzing......... coming out of Tampa Bay Camp...... This will be a signing Stevie Y's career as a GM will be dictated by. I've had this feeling for the last month or so that Stamkos won't be wearing a Lightning jersey in October. Then again I've never been as surprised as summer of '88 when Gretzky got traded. No one is untouchable.

    RFA/UFA Signings

    ENTIRELY OVERPAID IN MY OPINION.

    RFA/UFA Signings

    Bettman Re-Alignment Proposal

I think regardless of how the divisions are set up, there is always going to be travel problems...there are only so many games in a season..more games would have to be added, or some teams taken away....You would have to spread travel out over a couple of seasons ie, Eastern Divison teams get the bulk of the out of time zone travel season one, Western Division teams etc...as long as the Flames and Oilers aren't playing each other 14 times a season, I'd take anything. This hopefully will be the last time in a while that the cap goes up...otherwise there are going to be lots of struggling teams who aren't going to make the cap floor...but these are the teams that really don't really need to be around anyway....so travel would be a little easier if that's the case...But one thing is for sure is that Detroit needs to get out of the western division.... I'd love to see the Adams and Campbell conferences come back...first two rounds of the playoffs best of 5, Conference finals and Stanley Cup finals best of 7...No more than three days between any games, especially in the last two rounds...Have to stop having hockey go into mid June...I love hockey, but when you are playing hockey in Boston and it's 90 degrees, the ice is going to be horrible...

    Bettman Re-Alignment Proposal

Lets go back to the Campbell Conference which consisted of the Norris Division and the Smythe Division & Wales Conference which consisted of the Adams Division and the Patrick Division.

    Bettman Re-Alignment Proposal

Well after thinking about it, and looking at it from all sides, here is what I think: With the Winnipeg Jets back in the National Hockey League, the League announced that dramatic realignment will be instituted for 2012-13. There are a couple of Western Conference teams that want to move to the east. The Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets are forced to play all of their conference road games out of their time zone. I know the League has and will continue to have high level meetings about realignment. The talks will have input from owners to executives to GMs. Team concerns from travel to historical rivalries will be taken into consideration. This will take months. WESTERN DIVISION: San Jose, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Phoenix CENTRAL DIVISION: Winnipeg, Minnesota, Chicago, Colorado, St. Louis, Nashville, Dallas NORTHERN DIVISION: Montreal, Boston, Ottawa, Toronto, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Detroit EASTERN DIVISION: Rangers, Islanders, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Florida It's based on simply on geography. My alignment doesn't hold any bias for history or favourite opponents. Let's bring back the Nordiques so the HABS fans have MORE to complain about lol.
