Im not gonna say I feel too good about the way we played tonight..and my confidence is somewhat wavering but I will not give up on this team. It makes me sick to see these people who claim to be WIng's fan's abandoning this team at 2-2 in this best of seven. They are the same people who will praise this team when we win this series and for them I offer this LINK. We need to get better quick and I think it will happen!!

No s***.. would you not expect the station to be bias towards Canadian teams... thats who they report day in and day out..they are a Canadian station..and besides it's the same with american stations too and it should be that way!!

Now we get to see how good or how s***ty of a coach Playfair is. Can he make the adjustments for the Flamers to have a chance? In 2004 when they made their run to the cup everytime they lost or had a bad game Sutter was very good at making changes for the next game. Personally I hope Playfair falls asleep at the wheel.

Is that written in stone and even if it is if Crosby makes it to the finals don't you think NBC will pay 374 million dollars for some 1pm games? We all know their money will be good!!

Actually I get it loud and clear..the difference with me is I won't sugar coat it like the majority of people do. Let me spell it out for you. The NHL is dead in the USA. People don't watch it..(except for the obvious few good hockey markets)..people dont want to watch it so why is the NHL force feeding a product down their throats... give it a rest..its borderline desperate begging at this point and its sickening. Will the league suffer without the NBC broadcasting games?...how could they..they didn't pay a dime for rights...will the league suffer if a bunch of american teams folded this minute..probably but they would get through it. We all know this game is popular along the Canada-Us border and thats about it except for a few other US markets. The NBC has done nothing to deserve the right to pick games but they get to and the CBC is getting s*** on because of it!!

And so it should. 99% of the time in this world the mighty dollar speaks. Being from the states you should know this!! I guess the lowly CBC's money is no good to the NHL. I would think that the combonation of the 65 million and the fact they have the biggest viewership per capita for hockey would be good enough to give them the majority of the say on what games they want to show and when!! Obviously the CBC would love to show as many Crosby games as possible but I think this is more about loyalty to the Canadian team. Canadian viewers would much rather watch the Senators in primetime on HNIC then in the afternoon on NBC. I guess my final comment is what does the NBC have againts playing games in primetime? If they really want the fans why not show the game in primetime. I guess they would have to bump one of their 43 reality shows or s***ty comedies . This is the NHL no the NFL...we play games at night not in the afternoon!!

This is such a joke. They have tried and tried and tried to promote the game in the states and it's not working!! CBC is the standard for televised hockey in North America, HNIC is a staple in millions of households on a Saturday night but they bow down to the american station and show the game on a Saturday afternoon!!! To make matters worse CBC has paid the 65 million to the NHL for rights and NBC doesn't pay a dime and they get the game!!

I don't blame people for saying that..we have been first round whipping boys..like you say though..lets prove them all wrong!!

I have about 237 dirty jokes going through my head right now that could be directly dedicated to this topic. . I really can't wait for the playoffs to start because we have dedicated 2 pages to a thread about some useless puck bunnies. Good comedy though.. I can't say I didn' read pretty much every post in these two pages. It's obvious what the NHL is trying to do with these intelligent attractive young ladies skating with their shovels but I think with the incidents that have happened or have supposedtly happened it may be time to get them off the ice!!

I think Sid proved to everyone this year that he is and will be for a long time a better player than Ovechkin. I love how Ovechkin plays the game but the comparison about who is better is just silly at this point. Crosby elevated everyone on that Pittsburgh team to be better and has lead them to the playoffs. The same obviously can't be said for Ovechkin. Pittsburgh obviously has more talent but Washington is a long long way off of getting to where Pitt is!!

I am not talking about him in terms of talking about how to score goals.. its quite obvious he was good at that..it's all that smack talking about some guy's who are obviously young and not so well known in the league. Criticism is fine but saying that " if Hainsey can't make Columbus he wouldn't be in the league". After Quincey took a slapper he said " someone could have blocked that without shinpads". Thats not critizism...thats Hull talking a bunch of s*** he doesn't need to be talking!!
