Cmon man..we are 11 games into a 82 game season..I've said it 10 times already this team is so incredibly similar to last year that we will finish anywhere from 3rd to out of the playoffs and we will need to go on a heater to get anywhere just like last year. I agree..we aren't capable of the east west passing in our own end like we used to be so good at with Lids, Rafalski, and even Stuart who had a very good first pass out of his own end. Need more north south up the ice without all the BS dilly dallying. We are due for about a 5 game winning streak just to mess with everyones head around here lol.

I'm surprised with Bert..didnt think he could play with those guys..he's been good..he can't play top minutes all the time but in spurts he looks usable

I don't know why anyone is suprised with our play this year..we are a very simliar team to last year. We will have 4 game winning streaks..we will have 4 game losing streaks..until we get faster ( Gus and Tatar ) this is the way it will be..we are a good team that will have to get hot at the right time of year again.

9 games in you're right..lets pack our bags and call it a year. The funniest thing is we are 6-3 and we don't even have our best lineup on the ice.

How is hitting a post a bad break? To me it means you can't put the puck in the net..either that or the goalie had the angle cut down and you have no where to shoot.

We should've been up 4-0 after the first, weren't. Got jobbed on the Smith call, game woulda been over at that point..we had all the momentum. Let up on the gas pedal, few bad bounces, terrible embelishment call and it all went sour very quickly. Smith and Sammy are useless, I don't know who is next on the D depth chart but they should get called up for Smith..and I don't give a flying s*** about our 2nd PP unit..that is a lame excuse to get Sammy in the lineup. Put DK back there ..he would do fine. Moving on

Obviously Dats and Z have been fantastic so far but Danny D has been great on the back end. The less I have to say his name the better...very few mistakes and when he does make one its in the right spots on the ice.

True ..I meant more of what we can expect in production this year.

Bert was under contract and has no trade value so that one we can't do anything about it..... the Cleary re signing is still baffling..Love the guy but it was clearly time to move on. Alfie looks either injured or completely disinterested so far. Sammy is Sammy..hes a 3rd/4th liner now and he was under contract too and also has 0 trade value.

I think we should get used to a lot of this, we are essentially the same team we iced in the regular season last yet. Filp and Weiss might as well be the same guy and Alfie and Brunner might as well be the same guy which leaves us with the Cleary's, Bert's and Franzen's floating around the ice because they are too slow..until this team gets Gus and Tatar playing full time or makes a trade to get some speed we are a 5th-8th seed in this conference. I hope they prove me wrong as they usually do but I expect a lot of nights like this with this lineup.

Agreed, which is exactly why the double minor for drawing blood on a high stick is a stupid penalty also. Blood is so deceptive ..a tiny nick in the right place and it can bleed forever. Thats my rant ..clearly I don't like the high sticking rule lol

Neither..I'm pretty sure Kenny will find a way to get both of these guys under contract and I guess the only way he can do that is by trading some other pluggers to free up cap space.
