I totally agree, we play down to the competition way too much which is why if we get in I think we can do some damage. We will be underdogs against everyone.

The concept is pretty simple, as soon as we started shooting the puck instead of trying to get the perfect shot we took over that period. SHOOT THE DAMN PUCK. Gus is the best player on the ice tonight easily.

We flat out can not score. Doesn't matter which lines we use. At the start of the year if you told me we would be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs because we couldn't score I would've laughed Thought our d would've been the issue

You've given your current opinion of him like 437 times..you seem to be back tracking a bit..stuck on the fence? The best moves or trades that Holland has made are the ones he hasn't made in my opinion. He may be a little complacent at times but this team has been competitve for a long long time...I know the Bowman fanboys give Holland no credit but he is a great GM and will continue to be for as long as he wants. Often people say you need to build from the net out...we have our goalie..a good one coming down the pipe..a young defence but we need to figure out how we are going to score goals.

You have posted some pretty classic stuff before but this takes the cake. Congrats to Jimmy, Not a huge fan of the term, 6 years is too much for a goalie but the money is right. He is a top notch goalie and has proven such.

And we get games like today where the Blues were literally not even trying to score, it was boring as hell. I will say one thing for all the flaws that our team has this year at least we try to get some flow going to the game and move the puck with some nice passes.

His 2 goals in 30 games would've got us over the top, we competed hard, we just can't score and don't get many chances. We can't score, St Louis barely even tries to score. Makes for a really exciting game. Fil is probably wishing he was a UFA last year and not this one..He makes 3 mill/per and the way he is playing he shouldn't get a dime more. Over handles the puck every single play.
