So let me get this straight we have a 30 goal guy on a very reasonable 3.95 mill per year cap hit and we should just buy him out? put him on waivers? send him to work at Ikea? Does the Mule need to work harder shift in and shift out ? Yea of course he does but he isn't going anywhere. Zajac - 423 games played - 91 goals 5.75 mill per ( but he's got potential lol) Mule - 472 games played - 150 goals 3.95 per ( his ceiling is 30..maybe 35 but we know what we have ) His contract is too good to trade unless it makes alot of sense.

I like that but I would put Bert with D and Flip. This team will score goals..up front isnt going to be the issue..now the issue is not only trying to have a decent 6 d men its finding 6 warm bodies to even play.

I agree, people keep coming up with this lame argument that he inherited the team from Bowman..well no s*** he did..everyone inherits a team from someone. Kenny was lucky as hell to get his from Bowman. Its the same lame argument people used to make about Ozzie, " he's just a product of his team, he's not that good". Well what did you expect Ozzie to do back then , " Mr Holland, I don't wish to play for this team you've put in front of me, they are too good and I don't want people to think I'm maybe better then what I am". He still had to stop enough pucks to win everynight and he did a good job of that. Does Kenny have flaws..of course he did but he's done a pretty good job of carrying on the legacy of this franchise. Sometimes I wish he had a little itchier trigger finger but on the other hand he's kept this team competitive pre cap and post cap and as fans what more can we ask for?

If Huskins can either teach some of these guys to stay at home and play their positions or cover for their asses when they are out of position its ok in my book. Did none of these young guys watch #5 play back there? He's getting a one way because it's quite obvious Holland thinks that Huskins is a better player then someone in our top 6.

4-2 Wings, this is my 3rd attempt at this score.

The guy played 14 games last year. There is no time in a 48 game season to have growing pains or make excuses for these guys. He hasn't been terrible but him and Quincey have been so out of position a few times its baffling.

I'm starting to wonder who isn't nursing a groin injury. They need to hire a groin masseuse therapist.

Kid played good....obviously nobody ever notices the failed clear except it ended up in the back of our net. He's gotta stay up, things are getting a little thin back there. Ericcson, Kindl, and Cola now.....wow

Who's next in line to come up if E can't play? Cola is clearly done for a bit..he couldn't even move his arm.. is the E-Reader Kindl going to be ready ?

Really if you think about it our D isn't any slower but the PL era ( post Lids) it seems everyone that has played with him has forgot how to be in position. I mean they couldnt have taken tips from a better guy.

If we take 37 penalties a game I don't think it matters who's PP we are up against.

My musings : 1, Wayyyy better effort up front from our forwards 2.. Our D is shockingly slow 3. Our special teams are special thats for sure..maybe short bus special..or you can have the closest parking spot to the door special 4. Cleary is a plug and Babs just forces him on us. Cleary is forcing me to drink ..just chip the god damn puck in the corner instead of that stupid stop and try a back hand pass. So done with that guy. Good effort through 2.
