Not a chance,he could barely keep up with Franzen lol. I love Bert but he is a bottom 6 guy. I think Homer is going to hang them up and I really think Bert could be great in front of the net on the PP. He has great hands and he's huge. There is a spot on this team for him for sure but it's not in the top 6.

I agree, we have made a very minimal amount of mistakes in this series but when we have they have been terrible and ended up in the back of our net.

Ill defend these guys to almost any extent but he overplayed that 2nd goal so bad he had no chance to make a save if something went wrong, the coverage was brutal but he has to read that alot better.

I love Babs, think he's a great coach and a very level head but lines get a little stale at times. Anything is worth a shot at this point..hell move Z up to the top line and put Franzen at center on either the 2nd or 3rd line. Whats the worst that can happen? He plays bad? lol Move Ab up maybe to the top 6, give this kid a crack at the top 6, he scored in college..lets see him score here. I'm not one of these crazy over the top fire everybody type fans but if we come out with the same lines for game 5 I will go snap show. Something has to happen.

Why does everyone want Bert on the top 3 all the time, this line worked in the regular season but has done nothing in the playoffs. As far as i'm concerned might as well throw all 12 forward in a mixer and pull names out. I'm not much for putting up lines but here is what I would do : Franzen - Datsyuk - Nyquist Zetterberg - Flip - Cleary Bertuzzi - Abdelkader - Hudler Homer - Who Cares - Miller On D I would let Quincey and Ericcson play a s*** load, they have both been pretty good.

This approach is clearly not working, we've out shot them, out chanced them and out played them. We have been out goaltended but for people to be throwing Howard under the bus is a little much but I guess people are entitled to their opinion. The blind rage and turncoat fans around here are comical though.

It's like Canucks fans blaming Luongo when they can't score a goal, Jimmy wasn't good but we have to find a way to put the puck in the net and score on the PP. I told a couple of friends before this series started that I felt we could play good hockey and control these guys and still be in trouble because of the Rinne factor..clearly this has happened. We have clearly out played these guys for the majority of the series but there are no pictures on the score sheet...just stats. Mentally they don't make any huge mistakes like we do and when they do Rinne makes a save and when we do we look like we did on the 2nd goal. It's a 7 game series for a reason..cue the cliches.

This place is very comparable to the Canucks message board I visited after they lost the other night..and the league says they are the worst fans in the league. This place is really sad, be mad yes but the series isnt even over..this is the same group of ****** bags who ragged this team after we went down 3-0 to the Sharks last year but then they were all super fans when we came back and tied the series 3-3, sad stuff. Kind of embarassed to be a Wings fan right now.
