I've never understood a statement like this, why wouldn't you expect you're team to win every night? It kinda goes without saying doesn't it. Other obvious lines that don't need to be said out loud include : "Winning the lottery would be awesome" "Getting kicked in the balls by a steel toe boot would suck" "I really hope Jessica Alba walks down my driveway naked tonight "

Pav earned some Hart trophy votes from me last night and he didn't even have to play lol. We are still a good team without him but if this was a long term injury we would HAVE to make a move.

Has always been a great teammate and it will be nice to have him around for a couple of more, he's in good shape and his back issues appear to be behind him. The only issue I have with him is that if he isn't playing with Pav he doesn't seem to do much. It would be nice to see him find some good chemistry with someone else also.

Realistically? For it to be realistic don't the guys in bold have to actually be on the team? I don't get the hate either, clearly not his best season but he's still on pace for 15-20 goals, what were we expecting from him? I thought he showed some good strides a couple of times last night..lets be honest , no one was good last night except for Howard.

One thing has become quite clear to me, Bertuzzi has been a nice surprise this year but without Pav he is a 3rd liner at best !

Once Quincey is ready to go it won't be so comfortable back there for Kindl and Ericsson, they will have to earn some ice time.

That line right there is why there are Red Wings fans and then there is every other teams fans. We don't settle for 2nd which is why its cup or bust every year. It's also why this place becomes a ***** fest when we lose 2 in a row.

I agree. You have to bring yourself down to Canucks fan mentality. They have never won anything so they have to find something to treat as their Stanley Cup.

Expansion is gross, it is part of the reason that goal scoring in the league went down. Too many teams meaning too many pluggers on each team. Back in the 80's most teams had 3 lines that could score and your 4th line was built with straight up goons. Now we have teams that can barely put 2 good scoring lines on the ice.

After watching last nights game I really think we need a 5/6 d man. Our issue (although a good one) is that the chemistry on our top 2 pairs is too good to split up and we have no where to hide either Ericcson or Kindl, those two playing together get exposed at times. There were 2 times last night when the Stars top line had them hemmed in their own end for an entire shift. Bring in another guy and make those guys earn their spot..right now they are fighting Commodore for the last spot and that's not much of a push. A top 6 forward if it was the right fit would be good but I don't think Kenny wants to mess with the chemistry of this squad too much.

Why? We are deeper up front and on the back end and we clearly have the better goalie. I would love to play them.

We won right? sometimes it's hard to tell with you ! Slaughter..lol...good one. So it's outside the realm of possibility that one of our goalies may steal a game from time to time like happens to us often. Wings looked stale but I will take a stale 2 points any day of the week.

If anything that was fun..does anyone get the feeling we might never lose at home lol. We aren't pretty lately but like Babs says 2 points is 2 points.
