Howard is playing unreal, he`s seems to be in that zone right now where if he sees it he`s going to stop everytime. Schneider and Howard the two hottest goalies in the league..times they are a changin !

It appears that he does not want to watch from the press box anymore..he's been solid tonight.

If the Hudler's, Bertuzzi's and Flip's of the world keep playing well this team will be hard to beat. Z, Dats and Mule will always get their points but the secondary scoring and effort from those guys is huge.

That was gross..totally outworked especially on the PP, they were better then us..end of story. Does anyone think that maybe Cleary is hurt because he looked like dog s*** out there.

Great period I thought...4-1 is not much of an indication of how this game has gone..getting out tended..plain and simple.

It's a great luxury to have if we can stay healthy and have 2 capable guys sitting in the press box that can fill in on any given night. Being able to sub guys in on back to back nights or when someone is a little nicked up is a huge advantage.

There is something really satisfying about coming into Colorado on Floppa tribute night and shutting these guys out !

Must have read your post today..he's been the best player on the ice by far tonight ! So basically what you're saying is that you should quit whining about him because he's not going anywhere.

Oh how have times have changed..it used to be the responsibility of the player to skate with his head up or you got crushed Scott Stevens style..how you can beat the s*** out of the puck, skate with your head down, do fancy toe drags, pay the price for it and the other dude gets 5 games. Like i said before I'm all for getting the cheap hits out of the game but this sport was built on speed, having your wits, keeping your head up and good clean aggression..clearly its changing.

I know Shanny is going to do a good job and he seems to be consistent with his rulings so far which is what we all really want. I'm all for getting head shots, dirty hits, and concussions out of the game..hell guys are falling like flies and arguably the best player in the worlds future is up in the air as to whether he will be ever be right again but my simple point is this.....What is going on with the sport I love if I hear the leagues disciplinarian's name more than I hear the names of the games stars like OV, Stamkos, Datsyuk..etc...

I just started watching the game at the start of the 3rd..pretty motley crew of guys we have dressed tonight . How were the first 2 goals Conklin let in..the last 2 weren't all that sharp.

If Z and D are going to play on the same line this year it would be nice to see a right handed shot on that line. Problem is they are tough to find. Eaves has a great shot but I don't think he has the instincts to play with those 2. It's early..who knows.
