We have to play better but that was a terribly reffed period. There was interference on Dats on their goal and obviously the diving is right out of control !!

I would suggest that Modano is hurt if he's not going in the lineup at this point. There is no reason not to give him a shot if he's healthy.

I still think there should be a 24 hour time frame where no threads can get started after a loss and maybe even longer after a playoff loss.

Makes ya wonder if he's hurt? I can see limiting his ice time in the first series but if Babs is still trying to save him I think he's waited a little too long He's the perfect human..I hope he gets a lot of ice time Friday.

I love Z and Dats playing together but if they are going to be our best 2 forwards every night and only get 1 goal then we have to think about switching that line up. Homer-Dats-Mule Cleary-Flip-Z Bert-Abby-Huddles Helm- and whatever other 2 we want to dress.

Exactly, we had no legs all night, some bad calls but we just got out worked for pretty much 60+ minutes. Jimmy and Dats were good but I'd be stretching to find another guy who played well.

If Cleary, Bert Franzen and Flip are going to be completely useless can we get Helm, Miller and Eaves out some more. I don't dump on guys very often but Cleary has been terrible.

Both Western Conference series start in the Pacific time zone so it would make sense to have them staggered with one starting Thursday and one Friday but since when does Buttman and the NHL ever make sense. That would also give NBC a possible Saturday game #2 and a Sunday game #2. As for the people bitching about the travel...cmon...SJ has to travel too and it's not like these guys travel in buses for hours. They fly in the nicest planes, sleep in the best hotels and have world class trainers. I think they will manage.
