Its amazing how in the hell some of these guys got jobs doing hockey commentary. A couple of times I had the pleasure of listening to the Nashville radio feed on satellite radio against the Wings and Wade Belak is in the same league as Nash. Embarassing really !

I said that after the 1st, having an off night hopefully it's not an injury. Has Ericsson at any time in his Detroit watch how Lids uses his stick along the boards to poke check the puck free...the effing guy goes in the corners with his stick dangling out to the side, he might as well drop the damn thing in the corner. Cheeers to a good road 3rd, they are playing hard.

It's kinda funny..I personally didn't think Lidstrom had a very good period and it got me to thinking that I can probably count on 1 hand the amount of times i've said that in 20 years as a fan. The other good thing is that you know he won't have too bad periods in a row.

Pierre Lebrun just posted a picture of the white t-shirts draped over all the seats in the arena for the "whiteout" tonight. My comment would be doesn't the arena have to be full to have a white out or is it going to be an artifical whiteout by leaving empty shirts hanging over the seats ? Link to whiteout pic "WHITEOUT"

It would be awesome if someone in the Detroit area could manufacture 20,000 plastic Octopus that would be given out just off the property of Joe Louis arena and after Dats dangles and snipes top cheese 3:14 seconds into the 1st period they all get thrown on the ice.

I would really love us to get a little mojo going into the playoffs but also nothing would make me more happy than ruining the hopes and dreams of Buttmans 2nd favorite team !

In one week we all start 0-0. The teams that are playing great hope that they can keep it up and the teams playing mediocre (Wings) feel like its a chance for a fresh start. Take all the regular season starts and chuck them out the window. Intangibles are more important than anything this time of year . It's time to go on a 2 month heater play lights out and win the cup again.

They are way too good of a team to lose in the 1st round even to their nemesis the Hawks. They are deeper than previous years as proven by the fact that they have played down 3-4 regulars all year. Edler and Alberts will both be back by the playoffs most likely which only leaves them without Malholtra. I hope they lose but I don't see it happening until they play us

20 years as a Wings fan and I feel the same way I do every year. No excuse not to win the cup. As soon as game 82 is over it's a clean slate. I don't care about the path to get there as long as it leads to Lord Stanley's Mug.

My decision was simple. As soon as we hard our son 2 1/2 years ago I decided that I would rather be able to look at my kid with both eyes instead of 1. It took me maybe 5 games to get used to. Teeth can be fixed...eyes..well you only get 2 of them.

No doubt that Weber is tough and very strong but you can take a survey of every player in the league and Chara wins the debate by a landslide.

Awesome that Cracknell got his shot in the show this year but I'm not sure who he would replace on the list at this point.
